Product Description

Upgrade your 2011-2012 5.0L Ford F-150 with this Cold Air Intake Kit and unleash additional performance of your engine, while increasing your fuel efficiency. The kit features the ROUSH® air filter, air dam, and induction tube.

Cold air induction is a more efficient air intake method than the standard air filtering process. As a result, cold air induction can unleash the latent potential in power and fuel efficiency that is normally restrained by your stock air intake.

Air first comes into the Air Dam, which keeps out hot air from the engine compartment. The result is that the air entering the filter is cooler and dense, providing for a more potent air charge.

The ROUSH air filter media is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze "performance" filters can't capture. Based on SAE standards, ROUSH air filters capture almost twice the percentage of 2 micron particulates, and more than six times the amount of 0.5 micron particulates than our competitors' filters. Furthermore, ROUSH air filters are constructed using the finest materials available today, featuring a hand-poured urethane body that won't crack, curl or shrink like other rubber or plastisol units used by our competitors. ROUSH air filtration performance is second to none. This ROUSH air filter is 100% washable, reusable and features a lifetime warranty. The ROUSH Cool Air Dam surrounds the filter, helping to keep out hot air from the engine, further maximizing performance.

Once air passes through the filter, it is taken to the engine through a Modular Intake Tube (MIT) that can improve airflow up to 400 CFM over the restrictive stock intake tube. Made from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, the MIT straightens out air flow by providing a smooth, unrestricted path that increases air flow to the engine.

The kit includes all the necessary hardware, making it quick and easy to install.

Good Addition!

I put this on my 2011 F150 and it made my 5.0 sound Amazing, the CAI adds a performance sound to your acceleration, no need for custom exhaust after installing this. Easy installation took me 15 minuets. As for fuel mileage my 2011 has 24k and I got an even 20mpg on the Hwy after installing the CAI, you can feel the extra horse power and torque, i recommend this CAI.

Beautiful piece - horrible sound

My husband and I were looking at a number of different kid size pianos for our "Santa" gift for our 2.5 yr old. She loves here little digital Casio keyboard and her Grandma's big piano. Since we want to capitalize on her love of music and get her going, we wanted to get a piano. This is beautifully made and super solid. Unfortunately, we did not understand that it was not going to sound anything like a piano. It sounds clangy and chimy since it is a plastic hammer hitting a thin metal rod. We made the mistake of waiting until Xmas Eve to put it together and try it. Had we more intelligently done it sooner, we would have returned it and spent half the money on the digital one with karaoke mike. Our daughter bangs on it periodically but is not as excited about it as the digital we hoped to say goodbye to and other pianos she's been around.

A toddler's joy

My 20 month old son got this baby grand piano for Christmas this year, and he absolutely LOVES it!!! He plays and looks to see if we are watching him. He will clap after he plays a little bit. He actually can play without banging the keys all the time. It has a beautiful tone and the music it comes with is easy to practice with. I predict he will get lots of enjoyment out of this piano over the next few years.

Disappointed

The piano was arrived on time. Very easy to assemble. However, it doesn't make any noise when I received it. The kid and I were all very disappointed. The way to pack this kind of vulnerble product needs to be improved obviously.
