Cant expect anything less from Klein tools. Tough wrench, easy to work with. Unfortunately too many other guys feel the same way and tools begin to disappear!

5My favorite Klein tool!
By Hi Tech Redneck
Why? I use it alot and I like the handy handle to pry with. But my favorite part is the metal, it does not corrode. Most of Kleins tools rust and I just dont understand why they dont make all tools like this one. The corrosion kinda pizzes me off about Klein but I buy them anways coz they last forever. This one has ZERO complaints! I want other sizes now. But boy do you have to pay for them.

5Not bad for price.
By G. Cook
Purchase this laptop because I wanted a little more screen space than I got with the 13.3" laptops I've owned. I also wanted about the same weight, a lighted keyboard, and a touch screen for I think in a couple of years everything will be touch screen. I did purchase this at Furniture Mart in Neb. for only $650. Based on the graphics card I don't think this will play heavy games very well. It will drive my 24 inch HP display for photo editing. The brick for charging is fairly light. The Good:--Starts very fast with the cache memory--Not too much heat (BUT SOME) coming off the bottom when sitting on my lap--Toshiba doesn't have a lot of crap software on their laptops so it only takes a couple of minutes to uninstall..--Toshiba also does automatic updates to their BIOS and software on their laptops. So things are up to date without me worrying about it.The Okay:--The click on the mouse pad is a little on the heavy side--The display is fine but glossy and as a touch screen you will see finger prints when off. I use a HP 24" external portable monitor for photo editing so didn't see the need for a IPS screen and the extra $500-600 dollars it commands. The Not So Great:--The keys are a little shallow so their is not much travel on them..will get use to it.--The SD memory slot leaves the memory stick hanging half out? So you just can't leave it in and forget about it.I go through laptops fairly often and this laptop is great for the price and fits my needs!

2Darn Handy but Made-to-Break
By A Customer
My Workmate "was" the handiest thing around. It folds flat, is quite stable, and is nicely adjustable. The problem is that the worm screw parts and table mounting brackets are made of cheap PLASTIC. It didn't take long, but one by one, they've all cracked and broken. The particle board surface also chips and splinters with use. I think B&D designed this product to die after a year or two. I would give it 5 stars if all the critical mounting parts were made out of metal. B&D needs to at least sell replacement parts which I haven't been able to find anywhere.

5Workmate
By TinkOrgYdS@aol.com
I currantly own two WM's I bought one of original and later a 225 (I think) These tools are like having extra man on the job. Have used as clamp for planing/pipe clamp/a sheet metal brake. I use them as temp mounts for bench mount type machinery. Jigs set up for routing table on site. These tools are used for everything and I am now going to add a third to my shop with the 425. I can see this as a great setup table for small projects. Bigger jobs with 2x extensions clamped and plywood work top (bench top). Perfect for site work, small shop and large shop too.

5A must-have for all craftsmen
By Michael J. Edelman
A B&D Workmate was the first workbench I bought, and it's still in use 12 years later. I've used it to make tables, cabinets and book cases, to hold pipe for plumbing work, to support powertools and a dozen other things as well. Mine is sitting at home supporting a miterbox I'm using to cut window jamb extensions.

5Excellent low light normal lens for Canon APS-C cameras - but it can have focus issues
By JB
This Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC HSM | Art lens has been designed for APS-C or "crop" cameras such as the Canon Rebel series, 60D, and 7D. It is a 30mm lens, which when used on a crop camera gives the same effective field of view as a full frame lens of 48mm - considered a "normal" lens as it is not wide angle or telephoto. So this lens could be considered the crop camera equivalent of the full frame Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM Lens for Canon or Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard & Medium Telephoto Lens for Canon . And in my use of it so far I think that it is excellent lens for crop cameras.I was able to use this lens to take some indoor pictures using a single light bulb as illumination - and I've attempted to post the results here. I try to use a flash indoors when it makes sense, but sometimes you need to turn the flash off and use natural light, and the f1.4 maximum aperture of this lens allows you to do so. The resulting photos were sharp and contrasty. Bohek also looks quite good when shooting at f/1.4 (see example photo). One advantage of having this lens designed specifically for APS-C is it is much smaller, lighter, and less expensive than full frame lenses of this focal length and aperture such as the Sigma 340101 35mm F1.4 DG HSM Lens for Canon and the Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM Wide Angle Lens for Canon . Other pluses is the solid metal and plastic construction, and the supplied accessories (lens hood and protective case). As for negatives - unsurprisingly the focusing is not as fast as many of Canon's USM lenses. It's focus speed is similar to other Sigma HSM lenses like the 50mm EX DG or the old 30mm EX DC; but it is definitely slower than my Canon 10-22, 85 1.8, and 135L. Second, I noticed that the focal length changes slightly while focusing; infinity focus shows a slightly wider angle than when focused close to the MFD. That said, neither of these items is significant enough to downgrade the lens. I'm also a bit worried about focus issues, more due to Sigma's history than anything I've found yet about this lens. There is also noticeable Longitudinal Chromatic Aberrations (LoCAs) when shooting with bright highlights at f/1.4; however this is an issue with fast lenses in general, not just this lens.In sum, I'm very happy with the new Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC | Art lens. It's a great value when judged against comparable full frame offerings from Canon and Sigma, and allows a lot of natural light photographs that might not work with a slower lens.Note: in some cases the previous Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM Lens for Canon is still available at a significant discount to this lens. Is the new Art lens worth the extra money? Published MTF charts from Sigma and early reviews (Lenstip) suggest that the new Art version is noticeably sharper, esp. in the edges and corners of the frame. I look forward to more detailed test results, but so far I have no regrets moving up to the Art version. There is also the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 noted above, which is a world-class full frame lens and has better IQ than the 30mm - but is also twice as big, almost twice as expensive, and not quite as wide as the 30mm.***EDIT 04-22-13: After more testing I was able to confirm that the lens was front focusing on distant objects. I took a picture of a neighboring roof using LiveView, and the result shows the roof peak in focus as expected. But taking the same shot from the same spot with standard autofocus shows the roof slightly out of focus; the lens focus scale also shows the lens front focusing compared to when using LiveView. After a short trip to Sigma to get the lens calibrated, it now appears that the lens is focusing accurately. I'll now reconfirm that this is a great lens for crop sensor cameras, but I'm still disappointed that Sigma QC seems to allow these slightly miscalibrated lenses to ship.

5Super sharp lens and great build quality
By SSSS
I could see quality in this lens when I opened the box. On using it the first time, I noticed its sharpness right from 1.4. The edge sharpness was also very good wide open. Stopping down, it gets even better. Not sure why they decided to not use SLD and ELD glasses. This is a bit of a disappointment. They could have improved this lens even further and perhaps made it even more compact. It is a lot smaller than the FF 35mm version though. Considering the price, this is good buy. For indoor shots and low light, it is great. It does its job very well and is affordable.

5Good First Impressions
By Natural Mystic
By way of background; I am very much a novice when it comes to photography, but want to make it a serious hobby. Since I'm new to this type of high aperture lens, I am still trying to figure out the right f stop and ISO settings for various conditions. So please take my image quality impressions for what it's worth. I have owned my 60D for about two years and have been using the Canon 18-200 lens exclusively. This purchase is a result of an instructor's recommendation during one-day DSLR class and a LOT of internet research. My first impression of this lens is very high quality based on the materials and general look. I am very surprised how small the actual glass is considering this lens is designed to take in a lot of light. The first time i used it, I thought it didn't work because the focus ring didn't move and there was no motor noise. I later realized the focusing is silent and the ring doesn't move when focusing. This is a noticeable difference when comparing it to the Canon 18-200.So far, my close up outdoor shots look amazing (subject is about 1 to 5 feet away). You would think a professional took them! The focused subject is extremely sharp and the background is blurred perfectly - almost has a 3D look to it. All pictures were taken between 1.4 and 3.0 f stops. However, my indoor shots, especially with lower lighting are not so good. They are either out of focus or too dark. Further, when I focus on a distant object inside or outside, the picture doesn't seem very sharp So far, I am attributing these problems to user inexperience - anyone have advice here? At my daughter's birthday party today, I actually switched over to my reliable 18-200 to insure that I'd have good pictures. This also made me realize how much more real estate the 18mm gave me in tighter spaces. After downloading today's pictures to iPhoto it turns out most of the Sigma pictures came out good - looks like I'm starting to figure it out by day 10. I think this part will just take a little more time to perfect these indoor shots.

363 "accessories" a misnomer
By A Customer
The Wizard rotary tool works fine, but as with many "toys", it doesn't live up to its hype as far as the 63 accessories is concerned! Each copy of sandpaper wheels, etc is counted as an accessory. Also, the power pack is awkward and not the best design for quick recharging.

3Kind of wimpy
By Karen C. Daugherty
I received this for Christmas last year. Although it's suitable for most of what I use it for, it doesn't have a lot of power, and I certainly haven't been able to do all the things they show it doing in the commercial. Even if I did, it would take forever, because the charge on the VersaPak doesn't last very long.

4good small tool
By A Customer
This is a great tool when used as it was intended. It can perform an enormous variety of functions and if the included accessories don't do what you want, upgrades and replacements are readily available. However, this is a tool for short, small jobs. If you need a tool with more power or that runs for extended periods of time, try the corded version.

5Excellent Case!
By CJ Rawson
I recently purchased two of these cases for a two node cluster I built. I liked this setup primarily for the ability to quickly swap hard drives in the event of a failure. I am very please with the cases, the ability to hide the cables behind the motherboard not only looks clean but also provides less interference for cooling. I am able to perform quick hard drive swaps as desired. I am not using liquid cooling, although this case is ready for it. This case is easy to setup, comes with plenty of hardware, keeps things cool, and looks good. It also has plenty of expansion bays for 2.5, 3.5, 5.25 devices. I am very pleased with this product and recommend it for anyone looking for a mid-tower case. Also, the price is very good for the functionality of the case.

3Battery life
By Eric
I have a most of the VersaPak tools sold to date and really do like their ease of use. We have the circular saw, 2 reciprocating saws, 5 flashlights, 2 drills, 1 stick screwdriver, 1 scumbuster that I can think of right now. THESE ARE ALL GREAT TOOLS!

They do have one BIG SHARED PROBLEM. Battery life (or lack of it).

I currently have 10 DEAD VersaPak silver batteries in my kitchen drawer and NONE are over 24 months old. The standard silver battery will hold a useful charge for about 30 days on the shelf. NONE of my silver batteries have lasted more than 14 months and a few of them died within 8 months. I do NOT put them through a charge/discharge cycle even once a day - so they are NOT lasting the '300 cycles' that B&D claims.

I just purchased 2 GOLD VersaPak batteries in May 2002 and they REALLY DO LAST LONGER while working. I hope they last longer than 12 months though. I certainly HOPE that B&D will FIX this battery problem. I like the tools, but I may need to switch to another vendor's products if this battery issue is not resolved soon.

2Batteries Just Die...
By A Customer
I'd have to agree with other reviewers that these batteries HAVE MEMORY and last nowhere near as long as Black and Decker would like you to believe. I have probably 20 of these batteries and always charge them correctly, rotate them, keep them in matched sets, and they just die after a couple of years. In many cases, it's cheaper to buy VersaPak tools (with batteries) and throw away the tools. Luckily, the tools don't last either ;) You really have to view the VersaPak line as disposables.

2they just don't last
By W. Jaeger
Batteries seem smart, but they don't last long when new (except in the flashlight) and they gradually just die off completely (and are not cheap to replace). Be forewarned.

4Seems identical to older version sans metal construction
By J. Sorensen
I haven't had much time with this lens, came just last week and I've used it twice. For all NEX users familiar with the older, plastic model of this lens the clunking noise is still present...mine even makes a little noise while attached to the camera. The lens appears well built and I have no complaints with it's quality. I had the older plastic lens and returned it because I wanted the metal. I see no difference in performance, same excellent photos I had with the original. The metal color is somewhat peculiar though. The metal lens housing is a flat black but the focus ring is almost a polished black...definitely noticeable. I'd give the lens 5 stars if it fixed the clunking noise. Overall if you can deal with the plastic lens, it's a fantastic deal but for $200 and the metal construction both are exceptional lens values for the NEX.

5great detail sanding
By just me
excellent design, solid construction, and good features.i purchased this deatil sander (+ a 5" ro sander) to recondition the woodwork in our home (trim, casing, doors, closets, etc). the sander easily handled the trim work without destroying the drywall, the window casing corners and nooks, and even the countoured trim nicely.some if its good features include:*) a dial selection of speed settings from 1 - 6.*) unlike the dremel this unit boasts true random orbit sanding.*) the main sanding pad is shaped like a triangle and can be reorientated 120 degrees to get full usage of the sanding sheets w/o tearing off the sanding sheets.*) good selection of sanding sheet extenders.*) dust port for shop vac attachment.*) sturdy construction.i compared this unit to the dremel and felt the dremel was too flimsy, especially where the sanding pad attaches to the main body. the bosch's sanding pad is more sturdy and locks into place solidly with no play.i am satisified with this tool, it even performed better than i expected.

5Amazing detail sander!
By Meghan E. Pietila
We are building a sailboat and had avoided buying a detail sander for three years, because the ones we'd seen had little power and were flimsy. When we needed to get into corners, we used a Dremel tool with a sanding drum. We burned out one Dremel tool, and then went through five of the (returnable) hardware-store brand. One day, a friend brought over her Bosch detail sander and we were astonished. We went out and bought one right away, and several months of hard use later we're still very happy with it. We've worn out the triangle sanding pad (esp. its corners) so we'll be replacing that, but we've been extremely happy with the tool itself. We should have bought one when we started the boat! It's as good as our Porter-Cable random-orbital, and that's saying something!

5nothing compares
By A. Mandeville
this little unit is really a gem. The only down side was finding sanding pads ...found the b&d mouse pads fit it though...haha..so i have been using those for the triangle and then cutting the scap to make profile pads...they work great and HD sells them for about 4.50 a box.....enjoy...oh and no issues with unit that others had noted...I used it for stairs, a wood ceiling and a couple pieces of old funiture i wanted to prep for refinish and even using it for 6-7 hours no problems...though i will say i wish it had a dust bag...the hose option is a bit clumsy...

5Swing away (if you want)
By Kevin J. Berry
I'm a small volume custom home builder with a crew of five. We install the hardwood flooring on most of our jobs. We have used a manual powernailer for years. Recently I purchased Bostitch's MIIIFN floor nailer and now have moved our manual nailer to the back of the tool bin. Just a light tap is all that is required to fire the nail. In the event the board is slightly bowed feel free to swing away and hammer the board in place. This tool is easy on my carpal tunnel and for those who aren't ambidexterious it's a snap to use with either hand. It does take some time getting used to dragging the air hose around with you, and you definitely need ear protection. But the benefits far outweigh these nuisances.

4bostitch MIIIFN l- cleat nailer
By Brian Byrnes
I had a difficult time deciding which nailer to buy. Should I get the 2" stapler or one of the many cleat nailers out there? I called my hardwood flooring company (BR-111) and was advise that they do not recomend the flooring stapler as the tongues may break while stapling. I ordered the Bostitch floor cleat nailer to install my solid Brazilian Cherry Hardwood flooring. I found out that Brazilian Cherry is the 4th hardest hardwoods availabe. Brazilian walnut is the hardest. I also found out that Brazilian Cherry is almost double as hard as the hardest american oaks. I received my nailer and started nailing down the floor. I set my compressor at 85 psi and nevet touched it again. I installed almost 700 feet of hardwood and the nailer worked perfect. I love my nailer but have to mention that with its size you have to face nail everything within 8" from the wall as the tool is to wide to actuate the striking mechanism. All-in-all this is the tool to buy if you have any doubts. Buy the nails from home depot as their about $7.00 cheaper that online.

5Expensive But Worth It.
By A Customer
This tool makes laying a hardwood floor almost fun. If you are laying a prefinished floor, I would also recommend the optional foot (MIIIFOOT). I don't see that this is available on Amazon. I purchased mine on eBay. Also, some of the reviews on this item are for the MIIIFS, which is a floor stapler, not a nailer. According to some sources, there are less problems with the wood splitting with the nailer. There seems to be a hot market for these tools on eBay. I plan to resell mine when I am finished with it.

5Paslode siding nailer
By Rvandenberg
This gun is one of the best items to come along.I have been doing siding for over 10 years ( by hand ) and in the winter time it is very hard to hold nails with gloves on or freeze with none on, one person can hang alot more siding for more profit in one day compared to by hand nailing plus no nail pouch required so less weight to carry around I love it. Nailing into tight places is a little more easy also.No breaking siding when hit with a hammer.

5Awesome technology
By M. Story
I was a little reluctant to buy this fearing the technology might not be adequately developed. I was surprised, it is excellent in every way. It's also very light-weight. We use it for placing signs on wood surfaces with 1-3/4" long staples. It drives them the same depth every time with no variation. If you're concerned about getting away from conventional compressor technology and going "cordless"--worry no more. This device delivers as promised in every way (include the expense of operation)--it's nominal.
