Mob sized cofee pot

If you're buying one of these, you know it's just a big coffee pot, but this one really perks quickly. It also takes a lot of abuse and holds up well. I use mine weekly for a crowd of about 200. It gets filled twice in one night, gets rinsed and tossed back into the cabinet to be used again next week. It still looks nice and works well.

typical great Barbour design

I love this jacket and was debating if I should get the US size 10 or 12. I ended up getting the size 10 which is fine ifI'm layering it over a light t-shirt. If I had it to do again (I'm 5'4, 140 lbs, by the way) I would've gotten a size 12.There are lots of days in Northern CA even during the spring and summer that are cool and breezy where I'd preferto layer it over a sweater, which make the shoulders and sleeves feel too tight and constricted.So if you plan on layering over a sweatshirt or sweater go up a size.

High Quality, distinctive set of Knives.

I bought the Mundial 7-piece set for my father in law. I wanted to get him a quality of set of knives at an affordable price. Knowing that no set of knives like Shun or Wusthof could possibly be worth the $500-$1000 price tag and owning Henckels myself - I knew there had to be a happy medium. I did some research and Mundials are exactly that. Not too expensive but very high quality. They are heavy with good balance, fully forged (one piece of metal), and guaranteed for life. I suggest though paying the extra $50 and getting the 10-piece set as the block for the 7 is the same and have 3 empty slots. The individual cost for the extra 3 knives is actually much more than $50.

Possibly my favorite wedding gift!

I bought a small set of small, regular kitchen knives at a local store and fell in love with them, so a few months later when it came time to make a wedding registry I put this Mundial knife set at the top of my list.We love our knife set, they are so sharp! Nothing has given these knives a problem.I can't compare them to other high end knives, since I haven't used any, but me and my wife are happy with these.

Not as pictured, substandard scissors

I love my old Mundial scissors (I've had them for 6+ years) so I was excited to get this set of knives with a new pair. Unfortunately there was a couple of set-backs that made me regret buying this on Amazon.First, there's some hackery being used to describe this kit. The second image of the knives shows 7 pieces, but there's actually only 6. One of the small knives is not included and the block is really the 7th piece. So it's really "6-Piece Set w/ Block" as opposed to the clarity of the "10-piece Block Set".Second, the scissors are substandard. My old Mundial scissors were clean and elegant. The new ones are rough, greasy, shop metal. I honestly thought Amazon sold me a counterfeit set. I've contacted Mundial about the difference, along with pictures, and am awaiting a response (update: they responded fast!)The knives seem good. The only product I knew was the scissors, so I don't know if they're different.[Update] within minutes of this post I got an email from a Mundial team. They're sending new shears and have asked me to send them the bad ones. Very happy to see such service =)

The greatest, orangest espresso machine ever

This amazing, gorgeous machine was a gift from several friends who stayed at our house for a week, and it is hands down the greatest gift we've ever gotten.

First of all, it's orange. Orange! We don't even touch the coffee machine anymore, except when we run out of milk. Second, the espresso is delightful, frothy, thick -- and the foamer foams like nobody's business. And it's amazingly simple to clean up after-- we used to have a Krups that required three times the amount of post-cappuccino cleanup for a drink that was only a third as good.

Also, people marvel when they come over. They gawk and gape, openmouthed. "What is this beautiful orange thing?" they ask. We are the envy of the entire neighborhood. Men covet; women swoon.

Did I mention that there's a picture of little girl with her tongue sticking out on the temperature gauge? They're clever people, those Italian espresso machine makers. Such a delightful sense of humor.

Good machine with a few minor drawbacks

I bought this machine 7 years ago and since then I use it on a daily basis. It has given me much pleasure and I haven't run into any problems at all. I bought it together with an extra portafilter for using pods (more expensive, but very convenient since no cleaning afterwards is needed).Pro's:- design (temperature indicator needs a lot of time to adjust, so it should be considered as decorative only)- reliable (I can only say its construction is reasonably good and it works already 7 years without problems)- easy-to-use, no complicated switches/optionsContra:- cup holder does NOT get warm. This is a serious problem, since you can't drink espresso in cold cups since then the coffe will cool down immediately. I 'solved' this by putting hot water from the espressomachine itself into the cups and then wait for 20 seconds before actually making the espresso. When you want to make 5 espresso's in a row it takes quite some time.- waterreservoir is at back side, and difficult to reach.- making one espresso takes about 20 seconds. Other machines can do it in 10 seconds.Recently I bought an espresso machine for my father and after some thinking I decided not to give him a Francis, but a "Gaggia classic coffee machine" because Gaggia solved the above drawbacks: The Gaggia's construction is stronger and more reliable, and its cup holder does get warm. However, later I discovered that the cups themselves only get warm if you leave the machine switched on the entire day and I don't do that so I still need the water pre-heating trick. Good point is that the Gaggia is fast: 10 seconds for 1 espresso.My overal conclusion is that the Francis is a machine that gives me pleasure for already 7 years and of course, with any machine you will discover a few minor drawbacks after using it that long. Decide for yourself whether these drawbacks are really drawbacks.

Beauty is Only Skin Deep...

I purchased this unit along with a friend and we were both very unsatisfied by the quality of coffee this beautiful machine produced. I'll keep this review short: it is not powerful, is fragile, and does not make a consistent cup of coffee (I know all of the tricks, I used to be a barrista in Milan). For the best machine under [this price], try the Rancilio Silvia 90. With the extra money you save, you can buy a matching Rancilio Rocky Grinder.

Good quality and Made in USA

I can't add too much to the previous post other than to point out some other assembly tips. I ran into the same problem with the front wheels but instead of grinding down the spacer shims, I omitted the first washer. I just have shim, wheel, washer, cotter pin instead of washer, shim, wheel, washer, cotter pin. I don't really see the point of the first washer and it made just enough room to get the cotter pin in.One other thing that I wanted to point out is that there is a left and a right to the back axle supports. I couldn't find anything in the instruction saying anything about them but if you mix them up you can't get the wheels on. I found that one out after I had them all bolted together.Besides that it seems to be a great well made trailer and it's Made in the USA.

A great stand alone tractor wagon

The wagon arrived quickly in a cardboard box on a pallet. It was quite heavy but the pieces inside were liftable except the wagon bed which I moved with a dolly. The two axle/wheel and the one hitch assembly must be put together and fixed to the bed. A large number of bolts, washers, pins, etc are furnished to do this. The instructions are very good which was fortunate because the parts bag was short some items and contained other items never used. The shorted pieces were washers easy to replace. Assembly took about 3 hours and I encountered some problems.Half inch spacers, intended to position the wheels at each end of the front axle, placed the wheels too far out such that they covered their respective cotter pin holes intended to secure the wheels. I had to grind down the spacers until everything fit. Another problem was the hitch had a gap too small to fit over the tractor hitch hole. I had to add several washers and a longer bolt to make a larger gap. Unfortunately the tongue will not accommodate a standard ball coupler, which would have been a better solution.Wanting to haul rock and dirt, I lined the bed with plywood and tow it around fully loaded with a Kubota 2350 utility tractor. With its big tires the wagon is easily pulled over residential street curbs. Even loaded it can be maneuvered by hand into a tight fit area. And it is small enough that the tractor (with front loader) and wagon all fit in a garage stall. The only complaint I have is, again, the hitch. The hitch holes are fairly small and hard to align for the pin insertion. And the hitch pin is difficult to access under the tongue. Again a hitch ball coupling would make life easier.Despite some small annoyances this is a great, sturdily built product.

Difficult to assemble

Cart bed arrived by truck with a smashed rear corner. There were screws and washers missing from the sealed parts bag which indicates they were shorted at the factory. This was very disappointing and necessitated a trip to Home Depot before I could complete the assembly. Sure you can call them and they would send the missing screws, but who wants to wait days in the middle of assembly.The wagon is very difficult to assemble, partially because of the poor assembly directions. The diagrams and written directions could be much clearer. I'd like to see an executive from Precision Products assemble the wagon from those directions.The hitch bar does not stay in the vertical position, as it should, making hitching up to a tractor or golf cart difficult. Unfortunately, this is the only 4 wheel wagon available. AgriFab used to make a better quality 4 wheel wagon (I had one) but apparently discontinued it months ago. So, if you want a 4 wheel wagon, this is it.

As a Grade 0 phosphorescent pigment, this is the brightest glow in the dark powder readily available.

Glow in the dark powder absorbs bright light as energy.  When placed in the dark, the glow powder releases this energy as a glow.  You can repeat this cycle millions of times.  Used properly, the powder will only lose 5% of its brightness every 10 years.  Any light will charge the powder.  However, direct sunlight, high wattage bulbs, or black lights are needed to obtain the maximum glow.

Standard glow powder dissolves in water, resulting in a loss of its glow properties. Coated glow powders are treated with a sealant to prevent them from dissolving and gives them some additional chemical resistance.

The powders do not work in most paints. If you need a standard paint, then we highly suggest that you choose Glow Inc.'s waterbased glow in the dark paints instead of the glow powder.

Typical maximum ratio is 2 pounds of glow powder to 1 gallon of medium.

Keep in mind that each color has a different brightness and glow duration.  The Ultra Green V10 is by far the brightest and will often glow throughout the night.  Glow Purple is a gorgeous color, but it does not glow very brightly and requires a high wattage charging source.  Check the brightness rating of each product for comparison.

Glow Inc.'s glow powders have not been tested or approved for use in cosmetics.

The powders are available in several different particle sizes, identified in microns. Within a grade, larger particles are brighter. Larger particles, ideal for brush and roller painting, offer a rough texture and a somewhate peppered appearance. Smaller particles give a much smoother appearance and flow easier through nozzles and jets.

Easy Dump

This is a great piece of equipment! Assembly, not bad, but pay close attention to assembling the latch spring (drawing for installation could be better, but then again, maybe it was me). The axle is a bit tricky. It goes in easily, but getting the cotter pin on the opposite end was quite tough. If the axle opening for the cotter pin had been drilled maybe an 1/8" further toward the wheel assembly it would have been a snap.

ASSEMBLY TOOK ABOUT 1 HOUR...IT WAS TRICKY TO DO BY MYSELF BUT I MANAGED. THE CART IS VERY STURDY AND I PUT ABOUT 600 LBS OF STONE IN IT AND HAD NO PROBLEMS. IT IS WELL MADE. I DO WISH THE WHEELS HAD A GREASE FITTING. FROM ORDERING TO ARRIVING AT MY HOME TOOK ABOUT 10 DAYS. IT WAS DELIVERED BY CEVA AND THIS WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THIS AGAIN.

Dunp Cart

Cart took a long time for delivery. Ordered July 4th with delivery promised for September 13 - 19. When it didn't arrive by September 20th I was unable to track using tracking number. Called Amazon who told me it was lost in transit. Called trucker who had no record even though I provided a tracking number. I got in touch with corporate who handled the problem expeditiously. Turned out it was delivered to someone else. When it finally reached me it had been opened and never repackaged and cart was damaged. Delivery was refused and a replacement ordered. When new cart finally arrived it was just as described. A very sturdy and well built cart. Overlooking the delivery problems This is a five star cart.

Be careful in moderate to high winds Customer Supprot is ARROGANT.

This RUBBERMAID shed which was not cheap for it small size, held up for EXACTLY, 1 year and 3 months. The doors seems a bit warped, and actually did measure, about 1/8" warp, in the mid-panel on one door. While the poorly designed door assembly will fit into place at installation, the design mechanism to HOLD them in place, is far too flimsy for the weight of the doors to be maintained for any long period of time. So, if a wind in excess of 20mph comes along, be careful. The design is terrible, both doors, went flying down our driveway on winter day with a 20-25mph, moderate wind gust, definitely, NOT SEVERE! These Rubbermaid doors, never stayed on after that, the nipples that held them in placed, were damaged by scraping on cement. We had to scrap the entire shed.If you call Rubbermaid's Customer Service, don't be surprised when their people give you a hard time, don't give you much in the way of troubleshooting and tell you: "YOU MUST HAVE INSTALLED SOMETHING WRONG" or "IT STATES ON THE PACKING BOX, DISASSEMBLE THE UNIT IN HIGH WINDS." After spending the time to read the instructions assemble the unit, load it up with garden tools etc., how many people want to take it down each time a 20 mph breeze comes along? Their Customer Service people were terrible and make no attempt at all, to troubleshoot, and didn't care at all, our expensive garden equipment was exposed to the elements and to theft. There's nothing written, about "high winds" on the actual instructions, but they'll tell you, it's on the BOX and you should have noted that. And, exactly what is a high wind, 25mph? They sure don't say. Be persistent, they won't send you replacement doors even if they are defective, but they'll send you a lot of other components that won't work 2 months later later. You'll have a hard time convincing them, but keep calling, you might get the one person who isn't arrogant and condescending to help you...there really is only one person there who tried to help; we talked to about 4.We had a lot of confidence in Rubbermaid before this shed incident, but now would never even consider any of their products agains for outdoor storage. By the way, we're not in a very windy area, we're in the middle of Pennsylvania! So, can you imagine how many times anyone who lives in a Tornado or Hurricane zone, would have to disassemble their unit?Get a shed that's made of wood or metal!

Good solid shed

Easy to put up, strong and lots of room. The only downside is that the padlock clasp is very small, meaning that you can only use a small padlock. Could be a problem if you use it for expensive equipment.

rubbermaid shed

The shed holds more than it appears that it would, because of its 6 ' height. Appears to be well made, only a few pieces to put together . Havent tested it in the rain though.. Hoping for air tight!

Adjusted tire size with ease!

Here is my take on the Flashcal. I originally was looking at the AEV Procal but decided on this unit because of the digital display and additional functions.Download of the software update worked great, no issues at all (except you have to select the Flashpaq in the drop down box on the superchips site instead of Flashcal, it will, however; show the correct part #3570).After the update, I plugged in the unit to the OBD port and the Flashcal powered up as expected. I was able to easily select the vehicle function and adjust the tire size.I then went to the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and adjusted the tire pressure down to 20 psi.The unit will instruct you when to turn the ignition system to the on position and will notify when the change has been made.The whole programming process took about ten minutes. I took the vehicle for a drive and the tire size adjustment worked great. My vehicle now shifts properly and the correct speed is now displayed. However, I am still getting the TPMS light. I will mess with this setting some more and see if I can get this to go away. My main goal was the tire size adjustment, but I do want to get rid of the TPMS indicator that always stays on.I have not tried any of the other functions, but so far I am pleased with the purchase.Used on:2013 Jeep Wrangler JKU35" Tires6" lift

The good and not so good

The EarthWay 2170T is the same as their 2170 walk behind model. They have eliminated the handle bars and added a tow hitch. Assembling the unit was a bit tedious but directions were through and complete. They do need to be followed very carefully. The unit itself seems to be sturdy and I like the enclosed gear box and the flow control mechanism. I think the unit is somewhat top heavy when loaded with 100+ lb. of fertilizer. Mine tipped over twice when one of the wheels went in a rut. A wider wheel base would function better on rough ground. The flow control handle winds up on the side of the upright away from the operator when being towed. This could have been set at a more convenient angle. I have not used it much yet but aside from the narrow wheel base it looks like a good unit.

Review of Earthway #2170T spreader

When searching the internet for a spreader you are quickly aware that the Earthway prices are very attractive. However, you will find that you earn a good discount when you ASSEMBLE IT YOURSELF.There are MANY parts and they were all there in the right quantity. I suggest you lay out all the parts so you can easily see them.The instructions for assembly on a scale of 1 to 10, are a 5. That's not good.Go slow and if it doesn't look right, it's probably not... I had to redo the assembly of the tires to the axle. Some of the other framework assembly took some serious picture studying to get it right. Back up and correct mistakes, don't think it will probably be ok like it is.Once done this is what I thought:Nice tire size and plastic bucket size. Better to buy the bucket & tires oversize so it won't tip over on hillsides. Been there done that.Bucket, rotating spreader, and, material shut-off parts are all plastic. Hardware inside the bucket is stainless steel. All good.The control to open/close the spreader is a little far back to conveniently reach when in operation. That could be improved. You can improvise some sort of extension as I did.The assembly instructions could be much better. I'd buy it again.

Sturdy, well constructed unit

This is my third spreader in 18 years. It replaces a Scotts tow-behind and this one is far superior. The hopper is thick plastic (polypropylene?), including the screen (nice touch), and all bolts that attach to it are stainless steel. That is a good thing because on my Scotts, they rusted even though the unit was taken care of. It assembles well in about 30 minutes but be sure to read all the instructions. Since the bolts are very similar in size, measure them to ensure you use the right ones in the right place. On a sad note, the unit arrived with one of the side handles missing but two emails later, Earthway sent me a new one (actually two), free of charge. Earthway's customer service was very helpful once a dialog was established. I should point out that this unit comes with a tow extension which I needed for my John Deere tractor. Another nice feature is the setting adjuster has a setpoint that can be tightened. This allows me to close the grates on the hopper (for instance when going over the driveway), and then return to the desired setting when I hit the lawn. The Earthway spreader is very sturdy and I believe I will get many years of use with it. The only suggestions I have for the designers is that the next model have a wider wheel width to reduce tipping - the unit is somewhat top heavy but the double plate hitch helps with that.
