Good job for the price

These nails survived shipping to us just fine. They seem to be of a more ductile metal than other 1 3/4 roofers we use in that price range, e.g., griprite. They drive easier from the gun and aren't as brittle so the heads don't snap off if you have to pull them, but they have a tendency to bend more when pounding by hammer. They seem to hold as well as a nail that length should. Occasionally in cold weather the lower wire between nails snaps before the nail advances (this happened in different model roofing nailers) creating a jam easily cleared by advancing the nail manually.A solid product for the price, but it might be worth paying for a slightly more reliable brand if it would cost more in labor over the life of the whole box to pay guys to clear the occasional jam.

Good nails, terrible shipping

The box of nails was shipped with no outer box to protect it. It took a beating in shipping, many of the coils were bent and distorted which causes them to jam in the nail gun. The coils that were undamaged worked well in my Milwaukee nail gun, but I did have to examine each coil before using them.

Shot 5000 nails in 2 days

I'm new to roofing with nail gun but didn't want to spend all week up on a hot roof. So I purchased a Factory-Reconditioned Ridgid ZRR175RND 1-3/4-in Roofing Coil Nailer and a box of these B & C Eagle Nails. We were able to roof the whole pole barn in 2 days. I think the nails jamed in the gun only 2 times. Could be because we were new to doing this. But we shot about 5000 nail and are very happy.

Shipping problem

The actual product itself is very good! Contrary to another review I just read the nails are a full 3 1/2 inches in length. As a matter of fact they are actually 3 17/32 in length..... 1/32 longer than 3 1/2 inches. However, they did not ship as advertised.... "in the original carton". The way it was packaged and delivered was not in the original carton. The first box arrived re-packaged and loose in "hand made brown cardboard" box. Basically the collated nails were dumped into another box. Being that these nails are collated they can break apart if shipped loose, which is what happened. I called Amazon and there response was fantastic.... they immediately shipped another box, which arrived the next day. Unfortunately, the second box arrived in the same condition as the first, re-packaged and severely damaged. This time when I called Amazon they would not reship the product but did give me my money back. They wanted to investigate what the shipping problem was before shipping any more. Hopefully they were able to resolve the problem. I have ordered other sizes of collated nails before from Amazon and they arrived "as advertised" in their original carton and in good shape. The outstanding part of this problem was the response I received from Amazon Customer Support.

Work great, no jams

This is my second box of 5000. I used these to frame my shop using my Porter FR350 Mag gun. Make sure the nails are staggered properly in the ends when loading the gun and you will have zero jams. Sticks were a little too long to fit 3 sticks in my gun. Had to break the third stick in half. Overall, worked out great.

I ordered these by mistake,paslode impulse only takes 3.250 length.I have since returned them prepaid but however I have not seen a credit on my credit card statement and it has been a couple of weeks. What's up with that?

Nails work in Paslode

I have bought several boxes of these nails and haven't had any problem with them in my Paslode air nailer. They are heavy and when I orded two boxes they bounced around in the packing box and split apart some so now I order one box at a time. They come in a reasonable amount of time.

I purchased these nails for use strickly for my Paslode, after ordering them I had read other reviews that these nails cause the nailer to jam. I must of used 1,000 of them and not one has jammed in my nailer. I am definitely pleased with these nails.

B/g framing nails

Hello, complaint about the b'g framing nails ,they jam up the nailer and they won't line up in the guide ,the nails have tape to hold together ,your pic shows the thin wire which holds them together.looks like the tape builds up and keeps them from lining up in the track,I got some the bostitch nails with the thin wire from a friend and they work great ,so i think the b/g nails are junk even though I have used about half a box ,shoot a few ,stop unjam and shoot.eleminate the nails with the tape for the bostitck nailer.
