5Cuts like hot knife through butter
By Mark Goodall
I purchased this blade for use on my compound miter saw. It cuts very well leaving a very smooth finish in all the woods I've tried: oak, maple, cherry, walnut. I espeCially like the teflon coating, all my other saw blades have developped rust over the years no matter how hard I try to keep them clean. This blade should keep cutting well and looking clean for a very long time.

5Great blade, not a replacement for proper technique
By Jason Ledyard
Among the finest blades I've seen yet. I'm remodeling an old house, and need to cut new base boards (oak). It isn't kidding when it says "Glass Smooth". This blade in my DeWalt 706 is an ideal setup.

Beware, even a blade of this quality is not a replacement for proper support of the wood. If you are doing fine work with good wood, invest the time to create a sacrifical backstop and throat plate for your mitre saw. The stock plates on my DeWalt are great for general work, but if you want 5-star results, put in the effort to set up your saw correctly.

5The Blade to Have!
By Dan McClure
I've been using the factory blade on my Delta 12 inch chop saw, what a mistake. The Freud LU85R012 cuts perfectly. I should have bought the Freud when I bought the saw. Don't wait, buy it.

5Lightweight and well built
By BenQ
I own a hardwood flooring business and we have 4 of these saws in use and 3 Dewalt 10" and 1 Hitachi. I had the Milwaukee Magnum 10" but sold it because it was too heavy and hard to use. These Makita 10" saws have a great feel to them and are prefered by our crews. We have never had a repair problem with them except for truing the fence which gets knocked out of square after extended use as is typical with all miter saws I've used. Overall the best 10" saw out there.Note the DEWALT DW703 10" Miter saw is my second choice and is a good saw, however I did have a defective motor on a 1 week old saw.

5cuts straight less filling
By Tho Tran
You'd think it would be easy to find a miter saw that cut straights, angles, and bevels accurately (without having to adjust them every time), but alas no. I went through a couple of cheaper brands hoping to save a few bucks... live and learn. This saw doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other brands, but it cuts true.

5Makita's Quality is Unmatched
By D. Scott
The tolerances of the Makita LS1040 are so tight that wafer thin pieces of wood can be shaved off and you can see through them. I am not lying. I shaved off pieces of 2x material and could see light through them. Also miter cuts in moldings are crisp and clean. I especially like tools with blade brakes because they are safer and blade changing is faster. Because of its light weight I have no problem transporting this saw from job to job. Sure a heavier slide saw will cut 2x10 and larger stock but honestly how often do I cut that on the job site with a miter saw... never.

5Recommended - Professional tool
By A Customer
This cordless screwdirver does not compare to any other that I have ever seen or used. I own one with two batteries and used it every day for 4 years for my job repairing computers. It never broke and always had enough power. The clutch is great for precisely limiting the amount of power needed for sensative equipment. It is convienient to hold and to carry. The removeable batteries allow for continous operation. Each battery lasted me about a week or two. It is well worth the cost. Other cordless screwdrivers do not even come close in quality.

5a nice addition to any tool box
By A Customer
I purchased this primarily to unscrew video game systems forrepair and have not regretted the purchase. Though at 109 bucks it isnot exactly an impulse item, for me it was since I figured the more you pay the better the quality right? heres what you get for that the price: -three screwdriver bits-two phillips(one long bit and one short), and one slotted bit. -A drill chuck, chuck key and three drill bits -charger and two batteries -bit for socket sets I have not regretted making the purchase as it does the job very well of removing screws at a rapid clip. It has a variable torque/speed setting, you sacrifice one for the other, it has a high, medium and low power setting. (I have not read the manual in its entirety so I don't know what it does. It has no noticeable effect when switched in either position)It has separate forward and reverse buttons and a locking feature to turn the screw manually. It comes in a cheesy plastic carrying case with plastic locking clips (not very durable) but the case itself is solid.the only problem that I could see is that the screw driver bits are not magnetized, which can be a real pain when handling small screws in tight spots. Overall this is a very good addition to any tool box and fully worth the price tag.

5Very dear, nice, and irreplaceable
By A Customer
I first fell in love with this type of tool working on PC assembly line; we used a Panasonic version of it. I liked it very much: black and yellow, very handy, improving productivity by about 350% (!). I wanted it. I did not know how to get it. I was so frustrated I didn't own one that I absolutely frgot I could use Internet to look for one. Of course, I started searching for Panasonic, and I found the specs on their website, but still could not locate the reseller. And, doing my search on 2.4V cordless tools, I found this one. Milwaukee. I did not like the idea to miss that "black and yellow", but, I looked further in specks and options, and I decided to det a kit with 8-bit set and stuff. Men, was I surprised when I received the tool and realized it was even better than Panasonic! It seemed lighter, more powerful, very balanced (it is important! unbalanced damage the wrist even worse than regular screwdriver), nice kit, Milwaukee's warranty... Enough poetry. I use it everywhere: assembling PCs, server racks, fixing stuff around my house, drilling, working on my old car, to name a few activities... Using mine for over 2 years, very satisfied with it. Even want to get another one, to keep in the glass-and-wood showcase, to show everybody and boast of...

5Perfect for its purpose
By Aaron Dutenhoefer
I;ve had this tool for about five years now. It is almost never used to drill holes. Myself, and fellow contractor friends, have relegated this tool exclusively for use in High-Torque applications like mixing drywall mud, grout, floor leveler, thinset mortar, even small batches of concrete. I've never had mine act up and none of my buddies have ever seen one burn out. If you're looking for something to run self-feed (forstner) bits through studs & top plates, this isn't the tool to use. Wth a bit installed, it will not fit in between 16" OC stud/joist spaces. A Milwaukee Hole-Hawg or Super Hawg will be much more suited for that application. But if you've got a need to mix cements, grouts, or muds though, this the tool to use.

5Super powerful.
By Bob Bee
I picked up one of these at a pawnshop (not quite the same model, mine has variable speed) and am very impressed. I thought the Milwaukee Magnum hole shooter was powerful - this is TWICE as powerful, literally! Electronic speed control would be nice but oh well, you can't have everything. Almost, though!

5Milwaukee Builds'em Right
By A Customer
I use this drill at work on a daily bases and it has never let me down. The extra long handle is great when your dilling overhead. This model has a higher rpm than the standard right angle dill kit. The higher rpm's make drilling wood a lot easier. I only wish Milwaukee would have put the Quik-Lok cord on this model. No tool is perfect but this one comes close.

5Will pay for itself after one wiring job.
By W. H. Jamison, Jr.
If you are going to be doing any serious wiring around your house buy one of these drills, don't argue with me, don't cavil and whine that's it's too expensive, just buy the drill. Now Drilling between joists, or up into wall cavities, tasks which are a complete pain in the neck with a standard drill are almost effortless with the 3002. I had to run a bundle of wires through 12 floor joists, with this drill it took me about 15 minutes to drill all of the holes I needed and run the wires. Like every other Milwaukee product the drill is very well built and durable and if taken care of will last forever.

4Great drill, wrong picture
By EB
I got the drill and knocked out a wiring project in no time with it. The drill feels very solid and works very smoothly. The one complaint I have is that the case is plastic, not the one in the picture. It's a good case, but when buying on the internet, you have to trust the pictures and descriptions. The case is an above average plastic case, so it's not a huge deal.I only take off one star because of the inaccurate picture. The drill is five star.

5Finally got one!
By Richard Mowery
I had spent 6 years procrastinating, using my 18v cordless drill to drill for my wiring jobs. I borrowed my plumbers right angle drill (a beat-up Old Milwaukee)and on my way home that night I stopped at my local home improvement store and bought one. Wow what a time saver. The Old Milmaukee FEELS heavy duty. Great torque. Im sure I'll be passing this one down some day. And this is from a Dewalt user...

4Old Design still strong
By Julian Ajello
I have coveted a Milwaukee Plumber's Kit for 30 years and I finally got the money to buy one. This was the epitome of toughness and strength when it came out and it hasn't changed. However the world of power tools has. Milwaukee's development efforts have obviously been directed at its cordless tools. Except for the plastic instead of steel case, this drill is the same as when first introduced. It is one of Milwaukee's family of "D" handle drills. It comes with a right angle drive set up for 350 rpm; a good speed for driving big hole saws. If you want a faster speed, take the right angle drive off and turn it around. For an intermediate speed, take the right angle drive off and put the chuck directly on the drill motor. It would be nice to have a variable speed trigger. Some of the other "D" handle drills must have it because the operator's manual clearly says so. Apparently, the Plumber's Kit is an exception. You get 350 rpm or nothing. Brace yourself when you try to start your 5" hole saw!

5A jobbers standard drill for many years.
By PT Phil
This industry standard machine offers economical flexibility, power and utility -- and does so for a very long time. The small, tight angle head can sneak a whole bunch of torque into some very small places. The head can easily be adjusted right, left, up or down giving the user a lot of options when facing a tight-place job. The balance of the machine as well as the thoughtful positioning of the controls make it seem as though your hands are fully trained in its use the first time you pick it up. The gearing and fine working right angle drive make it almost impossible to stop this durable motor. (But you can do it in a pinch - an ode to the motor design) Last year I had to change the brushes for the second time in 26 years of use. Most people get better wear than this, but in my renovation endeavors I have used this machine for everything between removing a tractor tire to a make-do winch. Other attributes: The auxillary handle is built as well as the machine itself, and is very useable. The box is standard Millwuakee tough should last through the life of the tool. If you install plumbing vents in frame houses every day, you would do better with the venerable 1676 Hole-Hawg by the same manufacturer. Otherwise strong consideration must be given to this machine as your standard 1/2" drill. Can't go wrong.

5Powerful drill for heavy duty work!
By Jay A. Brunn
I have renovated several houses and a cabin. One of the tools I always needed was a right angle drill. I bought it and have put it to use drilling holes for electrical wiring and running pipes for plumbing. This is a powerful 1/2 inch drill which will let you drill in between studs, joists and other tight spots. I strongly recommend the Milwaukee Selfeed bits which assist in the drilling process by drawing the bit into the wood. I bought the plumbers bit kit which includes a great selection of the Selfeed bits and auger bits in a convenient carrying case. I highly reccommend these bits. The only down side to this drill is that it will wear you out if you are using it all day lifting it up overhead. This tool has tremendous torque, so make sure you have good footing and use care while drilling because this tool can literally rip itself out of your hands. But if you are using this tool, you are looking to do some serious hole drilling. You will never go back to a regular drill with a spade bit or hole saw. No wonder you will find this tool in almost every electricians and plumbers tool inventory.

5Power and Poise
By MicTrik
The Milwaukee Right Angle Drill 3107-6 applies allot of torque to spaces you otherwise would have trouble reaching with a regular drill. It is ideal for drilling holes between studs for electric, cabling or plumbing. The unit is basically their 7 amp variable speed D handle drill featuring triple gear reduction with a Right Angle Drive (RAD) unit attached that can be set in either low gear at 355rpm or high gear at750rpm. The D handle drill without the RAD will achieve 500 RPM. Changing chuck speed from high to low or visa-versa requires removing the chuck, reversing the RAD unit and then replacing the chuck on the other side. This is fairly easy but it takes about 2-4 minutes and requires a couple of tools that are provided. The Right Angle Drive (RAD) can be easily swiveled 360 degrees providing versatility to meet any drilling angle.

Using the drill is a pleasure as it has so much torque it just seems to eat the wood up. No standard hand drill I ever used has this kind of power. The build quality of the unit is of the highest standard and will likely last a lifetime of moderate to heavy use. This model is also fitted with Milwaukee's "quick lock" cord allowing easy replacement in the event the cord becomes damaged.

For remodeling, basement finishing, or extensions this drill really shines. Trying to accomplish drilling many holes in wall studs with a standard electric drill would be very time consuming if not impossible for simply not being able to fit one between the studs. If however you do this kind of work every day as a business I would consider either the Hole Hawg or the new Super Hole Hawg. These units are more expensive but feature higher chuck speeds and a transmission that allows you to select the high or low speed without the use of tools. This will allow you to get work done faster when on really big jobs. But for the home owner that enjoys remodeling this Right Angle Drill is really the best choice as it is two tools in one when you consider the D-handle alone with the RAD unit removed.

Built like a tank and as much power as you could ever need this drill definately delivers. The only variable will be your choice of bits, I have to place my vote on the Milwaukee self feed bits as they cut very fast and will last a long time between sharpening. So if you have some branch circuits to run or some plumbing to install go get this drill and some self feed bits. It will make the job go much easier.
