Extra Heavy Duty

This is the the king of extension cords. Heavy duty and heavy to pack around. One note - it is a 3 prong twist LOCKING male plug and female receiver, thus it will not work with your standard 3 prong plugs like on most power tools, wall outlets, etc. You will need an adapter. A Must with the Tosca Shampoo

This conditioner is a must with the Tosca Thickning Shampoo. It's the 'icing on the cake' if you will for the total fabulous results. Pricey yes, worth it, I believe so, but would really appreciate that they consider lowering the price for both shampoo and conditioner to a more affordable level. But it's so good, I'll scrape together the current price but just not buy it as often.

Advice from a Licensed Electrician (IBEW48)

I do not advise anyone to order this item:The UL listing is for the Outlet only(where you plug into it), not the entire unit, and the wire Gauge is too far under sized for use with most or multiple pieces of equipment (rated for 10 amps, your home is wired with 15 to 20 amp breakers, unless you have the old screw-in fuse type panels). The conductors will over heat and cause the insulation to break down over time with use. (This is what causes your equipment to malfunction, and devices like this, to cause injury and or fires).Most people are ignorant of these issues; therefore, this is just a piece of personal advice, take it or leave it. I see hardware and super stores selling this junk all of the time to the ignorant consumer, and it just sickens me. I won't go into the so-called- surge protector/power strips.Just ranting.

Great A/C extension cord

I use this cord for some load balancing in my circa 1970's flat. The outlet nearest the master bedroom window shares the circuit with another bedroom, making it impractical to have A/C in both rooms without an extension cord. Most airconditioners have a warning not to use extension cords due to the voltage drop across thinner (larger gauge) wire. This extension cord is definitely over specced, resulting in almost no voltage loss even when pulling full current. Plus its heavy enough to use as a medieval weapon in case of home intrusion - I think the 50' weighs around 25 lbs. So far using this cord plugged in close to where my breaker is, I see far less voltage drop when the A/C starts up - I suspect that it is significantly better than the romex in the walls. Another nifty feature is the heavy duty construction (its about 3/4" on the outer diameter) allows you to almost mold it in place and have it stick. We have it routed over our bedroom door jamb and don't need to use cable ties or cable guides to hold it in place - its heavy enough and resistant enough to bending that it just stays in place. Works great for our purpose (A/C extension cord)

Coleman 10/3 Cable with standard AC plug.

I received the well packed coleman 03588 cable in good condition from Amazon. It is a 50 foot, 10/3 cable with a standard 115vac plug on one end and tri-source on the other. There is an an LED power indicator light on the trisource plug end. I needed a lower resistance 10/3 cable (as compared to 12/3 or 16/3)to power a 115 volt mig welder as recommended by the equipment manufacturer. I wanted a cable that provided a standard 15 amp plug instead of the 20 amp version of plug that most 10/3 cables are fitted with. This product has met my needs.

Coleman Low Temp Cable

I purchased this extension cable to feed to an electric snowblower. It works very well and maintains its flexibility in 0 degree weather. The voltage loss is well within what I expected and the power light in the end let me know when I had pulled the plug out of the socket. The tines are not as strong as I expected, but the bent back well. So it is important to secure the cable so that you don't put strain on the plug.

This expensive cable was well worth the price, in that my lawn Mower operates with power and without blowing circuits. It is pliable to a point and very visible in the grass. I highly recommend this product on peace of mind alone.

Great for warm weather; not for cold weather

This is an excellent extension cord for an electric lawn mower or to run motors, such as drainage motors, since it has 12 gauge wiring that's necessary for the large current draw of motors. However, it won't hold up in cold weather and is not very flexible below freezing. For snow blowers and the like, be sure to use a low temp cable.

The reason to buy a thicker, more expensive cord is to make sure your tools get a steady stream of electricity and do not overheat, shortening their life span.You can calculate it yourself using this linkhttp://www.electrician2.com/calculators/vd_calculator_initial.htmlthe longer (or thinner) your cord, the more your voltage drops along the way. I think 5% is the most Voltage you should allow a circuit to drop.With a 15 Amp tool, at 120 Volts and 100' of extension cord at 12 AWG, the Voltage drops 4.9%, which just falls under recommended limit. (I'm assuming it's a copper cable)I'm not an electrician, but it seems like this cord will do the trick if you need an extra 50' of length, but consult your product manual if you have any doubts.

Tough, durable, plug shape only problem.

This cord is excellent, tough, durable, and priced well. The only slight drawback is that the somewhat rectangular shape of the female end of the plug makes it difficult to plug into some of my Black & Decker lawn equipment. The equipment seems to fit better to a round shape. The plug fits put it takes some adjusting to plug it in.

Nothing else like it out there !

This notebook could be improved in a number of ways, but since there's nothing else quite like it, I give it a full 5-stars.Asus was supposed to release a similar notebook, as were a couple other manufacturers, but they turned out to be vaporware.I searched high and low for a lightweight/ultraportable with a decent resolution (greater than 1366x768, this one is 1600x900) and a proper dedicated graphics card (2gb GT 730M).The GT 730M is more than just a rebadged GT 640M as some sites have called it, it's has a higher stock clock speed (725 vs 625)putting it closer to the GT 650M and some reports have referred to the core as a GK207 vs GK107, w/ 24 ROPS vs. 16. I haven't yet figured out how to verify this, nor have I been able to get the latest drivers directly from Nvidia to load. On the subject of drivers, Gigabyte offers Windows 7 versions of all the software, drivers, and even a Windows 7 bios so you don't have to use Windows 8 if you don't want to.The notebook really is light weight and runs quite cool. The stock msata SSD is the tried and true Crucial M4 which doesn't have the top benchmark numbers, but in real world use, it's a rocket. The notebook also has room for a second normal 7 or 9.5mm hard drive which is completely unheard of in a 'true' ultrabook. I believe the Gigabyte U2442D doesn't get to wear an "Ultrabook" sticker because it comes with an i5 instead of an i7, however the i5 is much faster than any of the low voltage dual core i7's and many of the previous regular voltage dual core i7's. i7 used to mean 4-cores with hyper-threading flagship performance, but now it just means at least $200 more on the sticker price.A few things to consider if you're looking to purchase one of these notebooks; the aluminum lid has a gold-ish tint to it and the rest of it is just grey plastic. It doesn't really look premium and I slapped on a skin for the lid and a few stickers on the palm rest to keep it from getting scratched up too quickly. The screen is a traditional matte which is great for glare, but not so great for keeping clean or getting the sharpest colors. The notebook comes with Windows 8, which really sucks for productivity (but most computers come with Windows 8). The Nvidia Kepler architecture is great for gaming, but even with 384 Cuda cores, it sucks at openCL so GPU acceleration of programs like Matlab, Solidworks, Photoshop, Ansys, Comsol, etc aren't going to really benefit from the dedicated card like they would with an ATI/AMD dedicated card of the same level.At the end of the day, it's a very capable, very light weight notebook for playing and getting work done. When the box arrives you will not be disapointed, the packaging is sharp and Gigabyte throws in extras like a very nice leather sleeve and a keyboard cover/screen cloth.

What else, its an Orange Extension cord....

Does the job perfectly fine. Its 12 gauge so there's no amperage loss in 100ft length.I use it with my Black and Decker 12 amp electric mower. Works great, everytime.Some people have complained earlier that it doesn't fit their 2 pin plug on the female side of the cable. You should just make sure, if you plan to connect any 2 pin appliances, that the socket on the appliance has enough room to plug this in.I've also connected this with 10amp machinery with additional 14gauge 50ft cable. That works too. I guess if you know what gauge of cable you need, you can't go wrong with this.Some facts:- 16 gauge is good for up 14 AMPS on 50 feet, up to 8 AMPS on 100 feet- 14 gauge is good for up to 18 amps on 50 feet, up to 12 amps on 100ft, up to 6 amps on 200 feet- 12 gauge is good for up to 18 AMPS on 100ft, up to 10 AMPS on 200 feetMost appliances have amp or watt rating. If they have watt rating, divide that by 110 (assuming you are 110Volt country like US) and you get the amp. Example, if your appliance is 1200 watts, it's 1200watt / 110 volts = 10.9 AMPS.

Nice durable wrench set

These wrenches have a nice texture for grip. They don't round off heads and hold up well, even under heavy torque with the smaller sizes. Good set for a decent price. The case is a plastic that doesn't roll up very well so I got rid of it and got a metal holder for them. I'm a lil worried about how long they will go without getting any rust. I was using them in a light mist and I wiped them down afterwards. I must have missed one because the very next day I had 3 little spots of rust on one of them that wouldn't completely wipe off. Other than that they are good wrenches.

My fiance is a mechanic so you can only imagine how picky he is about his tools. Well, he LOVES these! He went on and on about how great the quality is and how great the price was for such great quality!
