light weight and convenient

Recently purchased this ladder. It's very light and seems quite sturdy although I am near the reported weight capacity of 250 pounds.I particularly like that I can stand on the platform and my head does not touch my (8 ft.) ceilings.On a regular step ladder, the second step isn't high enough and the third is too high. I'm 6 foot.This ladder is made in USA and is a good purchase.The picture on Amazon for the 264 model is misleading as the 264 has only one step and then the platform. The picture shows the 265 which is a 5 foot as opposed to a four foot.

The Best

This is so stable for being so light. It is so noticeably better quality then the cheaper versions. I got the smaller Werner step stool for My 84 year old mom and she loves it so I got this bigger version for her so she could clean her ceiling fans. She loves it being so light and she feels very safe on it and likes the shelf to put her stuff on. I work on ladders every day and I hate cheapo flimsy ladders and stools. They'll hurt you. Maybe not heavy enough for a construction site, but perfect for the home. I plan on getting another for myself.

Great ladder, light weight

I have owned this ladder for years, and wanted one for a friend. I could not find one in any of the local stores, but Amazon.com came through. THe ladder is light weight, easily portable, but sturdy. Great to have in the house for those of us who cannot use a bulky step ladder any more.

LOVE IT!

The beyond junior high chair is comfort in convience all wrapped in one. I have four children and out of the three high chairs I have bought, this chair is by far my favorite and most used. My 2 year old, 5 and 7 year old ALL use this chair at some point in the day and its adjusted to fit their size. One thing I love about this high chair vs. others, is the convenience of cleaning the tray after big messes, just pop in the dishwasher and your done. My son has spilled everything from cake icing to koolaide in the chair and after simply wiping it down by removing the seat with ease. Another plus, is the fact that this particular high chair will work for a boy/girl and looks good with any style of decorations. The only problem I had was I got hung up on the installation. The qr code on the instructions wasn't an interactive demo so it too me some time to figure it all out. Hopefully the company fixes that so parents can save time putting it together. All in all a really good buy. I will most definitely use this high chair for my future children. I have received numerous compliments on it and recommened it to many. This chair is a must have for someone who has kids especially if you have several like me.

so far so good !

I really like this chair so far. I was looking for a wooden high chair that would be easy to clean, comfortable and decided to give this one a try. I m glad I did. The chair has a nice design and I can see that the straps used are high quality. It is very comfortable for my 11 months old and my 3 years old. We only bought one so, it's quite easy for us to swap and change the height levels for both kids . The tray cover is very easy to remove with one hand, but firm enough to prevent from being yanked off by my child. The only drawback is chair only comes with one the tray cover. So if it's in dishwasher, we have to wait till it's clean. I m thinking of purchasing another tray cover. So glad we spent the little extra money for this highchair. It will be well used for quite a while.

Absolutely Excellent Stepladder

I've owned 3 of this model 244 for several years and it is, by far, the most useful stepladder I've ever owned. Very sturdy, stable, and lightweight. Very slim collapsed and will even stand by itself if left slightly opened. I use mine daily in my home and can't say enough good about them. Excellent stepladder.

This is an excellent choice

My wife and I have gone through quite a few folding step stools over the years. We tried to save a few bucks each time and wound up paying for it in the long run. This item is perfection. It is strong but lightweight. It folds and unfolds so easily. i'm a 200 pounder, while my wife is half my size. We have found that it will support me with ease and it's a breeze for her to use. We really like this and would recommend it many times over.

Just okay...not the raving reviews I usually give NYDJ

It may be my fault for not really realizing what "fitted ankle" really meant. I usually wear a 12, so I order 10s and sometimes 8s in NYDJ, and they hold in my tummy so well that I am very devoted to them. I have a big tush but skinny legs so I try to get skinny leg jeans, but these take the cake. They fit so tight at my ankle that I feel like they look like leggings. I got a 10 in these, but they fit much too tight. Maybe if I lose a little weight they will look better, but for now, I just have to say they're just ok, not great

Oh Dear Lord It's Huge

First off, I overestimated my house height. I have three stories (and a basement), but even so, this may be overkill for that. :) Anyways, it is definitely LONG and *HEAVY*. The delivery people called and said they need someone to be here to "help" because they only have one guy delivering it. That meant I had to stay home from work, which I thought was a bit wonky--seems like they should either send two guys or just have the one guy deal with it. It's not like one person *can't* handle carrying it. Anyways, I'm a big guy and thought I could handle it, but this is definitely a two person ladder. Even with two, it's a bear.It's also so danged expensive. I mean, $500 is a lot to pay for a ladder, and I'm sure returning it would be just too much trouble (and probably cost). So I'll deal with it. My advice: just make sure you really need the height, and make sure you have two people to manage it. On the plus side, if you split it up, it is definitely more manageable, but still you need two people due to the length.The quality of the ladder itself seems good. Sturdy--important as I do need the 300lb rating. :) It does scuff up easy, though, but I guess who cares--it doesn't have to look good.

no protective packaging

werners are great ladders but if they are shipped totally naked, with ZERO protective wrapping of any kind, it is inevitable that they will suffer damage during shipping. the first was actually cracked, besides the countless gouges, scuffs and dings. we requested some wrapping for shipment of replacement, but it too arrived "naked" and was also so badly scuffed, dinged and gouged that it looks like it has been used for 10 years. at least it wasnt cracked, so we accepted it as our project was time sensitive. another issue was that the delivery driver of the first cracked ladder told us it was policy to hang on to it until replacement was delivered, but it took a few requests to customer service to get the pickup of cracked ladder authorized. too many headaches! but the ladder itself, along with ladder max stabilizer, worked great for getting onto our 35 ft high roof.

Takes two people to handle but very sturdy

I got this ladder because there are points on the house where there are a basement and two stories to get to the gutters. I am a 240 lb guy and do not like wobbly ladders. This one feels very secure. I suppose you could probably figure out a way to put it up and down with just one person, but I have always used two people because of the size.This is one of those products that you only have to have in very special circumstances. I usually use a much smaller 28ft ladder when I go to other properties to do work.

Werner 28" Extension Ladder

Very well made ladder. Very light (for it's size). Extending the ladder is very easy, extension locks never hang up. D-rungs are huge improvement over round designs (I do wish the rungs were a 1/4-1/2" wider.) I shopped around alot before selecting the Werner and I felt they were very high quality construction. It has proven to be very rugged and dependable in use.

Minor cons - The upper extension is located "in front" of lower extension so it is easy to miss the transition rung (I have marked the lowest rung on the upper ladder with red dyechem marking ink as a visual indicator of the transition point to avoid missing the step). Note: All my older ladders are the reverse of this set-up and, I think, this adds to my difficulty with this design.My only other con is that you must stand on the "inside" (due to above design) to use the extension rope, which makes adjusting the ladder to the correct working height more difficult.

Recommended accessory - Without a doubt the Werner Quik Clip Stablizer is the greatest. The added stability and workspace at the top of the ladder is outstanding. Takes less than 5 seconds to put on or take off. No u-bolts or other attachment methods.

No protective packaging -- Ladder will be damaged upon arrival

First ladder arrived unpackaged.... banged up with frayed exposed fiberglass in several spots. I refused shipment, wrote Amazon an email about the lack of any protective packaging, and looked forward to a replacement. The replacement ladder arrived again, without packaging, banged up, chipped, and chunks of fiberglass missing. This was the second ladder to arrive without protective packaging.I was not able to inspect when the driver dropped off the second ladder. Amazon says I can haul a 24' ladder to a place that will ship it and they will replace it. Not easy with a small car, and there is a high probability the third ladder will arrive like the other two.Stuck with damaged ladder!

Extension Ladder

I like the solid feel of this ladder, and you can do electrial work and you are not grounded. I use it with the automatic ladder leveler, and quick click stabilizer. Both of which I think are very good, and wouldn't use the ladder without.

Great for 2 story home gutter cleaning

Need a fiberglass ladder because you are working near power lines? This is a good one. Very sturdy, and lighter than other choices. Add the snap-on stabilizer, and the leveling kit, and you have a fully rigged ladder. It does take a bit of mechanical skill to add the leveling kit, but otherwise this is a great ladder.

I give the ladder a 4. Keep in mind fiberglass ladders are HEAVY!Don't order this mail order. Plain old common sense I suppose, but I took a chance on Amazon and they can't guarantee the handling. The ladder arrived in poor condition.My spouse should not have signed for it, but didn't know what to look for. My own dammed fault. Learn from my mistake.

Great, sturdy ladder.

This ladder was as advertised and will work fine. I debated getting a shorter one and wish I had done so. The ladder is pretty heavy and therefore difficult (for me, at least) to maneuver. I should have went a shorter model. I won't lower the rating because of my mistake.

this product was amazing to me with all that included.I was very careful before I purchased it and read a lot of reviews and I'll admit I was nervous about the purchase.however this was a very very easy install from the hard drive it took about 45 minutes to an hour the sounds that are included are unbelievable everything you would ever want basically is in Mass I am no representative just a guy that likes to make music... I'll never need to purchase another instrument

Superb all-duty ladder for the home

This is especially a great ladder for use _inside_ the house. The sturdy high-impact plastic molded top is better (in my opinion) than a metal top, because if you bump walls or furniture while carrying the ladder, you're a lot less likely to cause damage. In addition, the thing is well-built and extremely durable. By the way, I do recommend adding the Werner "pail shelf", as that enhances the ladder's usefulness.

I own two of these ladders, and they have work well for me. They are very stable and easy to move. I also like that you are not grounded when you do electrical work.

It's a ladder

I read reviews suggesting that it was heavy.That's not my experience... and I'm old and bordering on feeble. It's easy enough for me to move around with no difficulty at all.I also read that it arrived without a box and was scratched. It's true, it arrived without a box and probably had a few scratches... I don't know, I didn't look. It's a ladder fer pete's sake.So yeah. I'm totally happy with it.
