5Awesome case!
By Adam
I bought this at a brick and mortar store yesterday. It is a great folio, I actually like it better than the Ultraslim, Zaggkeys Profolio+ and the Zaggkeys Pro (yes, I tried a lot of them out). There are only two (small) issues.1 - The Tab and Caps Lock keys are function keys of Q and A. It makes hitting Tab a little awkward when filling out web forms2 - When folding the folio down into "media view" it doesn't snap together magnetically. This would have been a really nice feature as they did with the "type view".Other than those two things, this is a fantastic folio, looks professional and still allows for easy access to the "naked" iPad as it is very very easy to remove the iPad from the case.

4Solid and sturdy keyboard and yet it might be too bulky/heavy for many users
By Niyamo
I've been looking for a perfect ipad keyboard case to transform my ipad into a good study companion. I combine the use of keyboard, a stylus and picture taking function of the ipad to organize all my notes together. Therefore, it is important for me to be able to put the ipad down on the table for handwriting easily. That being said, this case makes it very easy for switching between typing mode and writing with stylus mode. The ipad slides down easily and pops back up within a second. However, it doesn't feel comfortable when I try to hold the ipad in hand and use it as a tablet. There is no magnet holding the ipad to the case in the media mode and the ipad keeps sliding down. In addition, the bulkiness of the ipad and case combo also adds difficulty in holding the ipad still in hand, which kind of defeats the purpose of the ipad in the first place - a handy tablet. In summary, the pro's and con's are as follows in my personal view-Pros- Very sturdy case, offers great protection. no need to worry about scratching.- Keyboard very responsive and solid- the magnet holds the ipad up firmly- easy switching between the typing and media modes, which makes it easy for you if you want to use a stylus in the middle of typing. It is perfectly angled for the use of stylus such that my hand doesn't keep touching the screen in the middle of writing.- stylus holder might be important, if you use a stylus (my adonit jot pro doesn't seem to fit though)Cons- Bulky and heavy. It essentially double the thickness and the weight of the ipad.- Hard to use as a tablet. The media view is only good for use in the landscape mode. If you want to hold your ipad in portrait mode for reading or playing games, it might feel a little awkward.- Non-traditional keyboard layout, takes some learning. Logitech experiments with its keyboard layout a little bit. I kept missing the A key when I first used it. This is definitely learnable, but is something that you might want to know before your purchase.I also tried the logitech ultrathin keyboard cover. I have mixed feelings toward that product compared to this one. On one hand, the ultrathin is significantly lighter and thinner. It is very portable and takes up minimal space in your bag/purse. The keyboard is easy to use and the magnet works great. I really love how easily it attaches to the ipad and stays on. However, as a trade-off, it doesn't offer much protection. The keyboard cover itself is easily scratchable. For the use of stylus, I have to take the ipad off the keyboard and place the naked ipad on the desk every time I want to jot down some information in the middle of typing. I don't feel very comfortable placing the naked ipad on tables/desks for too long/much. It just felt fragile to me personally.

3keys are not centered... weird
By Gary Tsang
just got it this afternoon. the build quality and material used is top notch. however what i found interesting is the keys are not centered. the keys are shifted to the left side so i am not used to the placement and keeps hitting the wrong keys. perhaps i need some time to get used to it but so far i have been typing nothing but typo. if i still couldn't get it straight in a couple of days i will most likely return it.

5Runs Cool and Quiet
By John Woods
I am impressed at how cool and quiet this card runs. I placed it in an older Intel Quad Core desktop, and with the included drivers, and not changing any clocking parameters, I got 266 Mhash/s from the GUIMiner in its default OpenCL mode with flags set to "-v -w 128" (without quotes). The desktop I placed the card into has poor ventilation, but the video card fans are still not going above 50%, and the temperature is low.

4Exactly what I wanted.
By Bryan
I ordered this on 4/12/13 and it was delivered the next day. Here are my initial thoughts. I'll add to this as I use it more. Asus took a cue from Apple with their packaging. Very clean and orderly. Cables are tie with velcro straps, no twisty ties. Batteries included for the keyboard/mouse. The mouse's power was toggled to off. Don't forget to turn it on! The tablet/monitor was delivered with nearly zero power. You have to charge it above 20% before it will update to the latest version of Android that Asus provides (4.1.1). Windows 8 needed what seemed like a lot of patches for a system that just came out. I'm using 802.11n on both the tablet as well as the base to a Netgear WNDR3700 and get approximately 190mbit for file transfers. For reference, my home file server will completely saturate the gigabit connection to my desktop. The base/tablet are in the same small room as the router. The Win8 computer's 1TB drive came formatted with 750GB dedicated to a data drive (D:) with the rest for system / recovery. As far as the Android side, the Tegra 3 in the tablet is plenty fast for my needs. I'm using a beta build of XBMC for Android with hardware acceleration and it handles 720p / 1080p mkv's marvelously. I've tried a few tegra specific games and they run great as expected. So far the only issue that I've run across that has me disappointed is Amazon Prime instant videos using flash. The audio is out of sync no matter what browser I try to use. I'm quite disappointed in Amazon for not having an android app yet. That's not Asus's fault though. The wireless signal on 5ghz isn't too great so far. I've got 802.11n capable laptop that seems to get a much stronger signal in my home. Even with a android showing 1 bar of signal I can still get > 55mbit speed. The audio coming out of the tablet is loud. VERY loud. It's a bit on the tinny side but still good. The audio from the base (different speakers) is a bit better but still in need of some base. Definitely worth picking up some PC speakers. Now for the user experience. The IPS panel is gorgeous. The touchscreen is VERY smooth and responsive in both Windows and Android. The experience is not quite as responsive when using Win8 away from the base. It's very usable, mind you, but it is obvious that you aren't attached anymore. I've only tried a few PC games so far. I've been replaying Portal 2 and Torchlight 2 recently so I tried both on this system. They play great with everything maxed. Torchlight 2 works fine with a touch screen though I didn't see any immediate way to "right click" with touch. Portal 2, on the other hand, was unusable with touch. I could even play Torchlight 2 with the touch screen away from the base but the FPS dropped noticeably. The tablet is definitely heavy. You're not going to carry it around and use it in your hands. It's fun to use on the couch though or propped up on a TV tray. It did not handle direct sunlight well in Android mode. Though it has a camera, it doesn't sense light in the room which means you need to adjust the brightness yourself. Speaking of which, the webcam is mediocre. There a few negatives that made this a 4 instead of 5.* Sometimes the transition between desktop monitor mode to tablet remote control mode gets.. confused.* Webcam doesn't work in Skype on android side of things. It's also not very good.* Wireless radio in the tablet is poor or the signal measurement is faulty.

5Above my expectations
By zzdb
I ordered this 4/12/13 as well. I received mine at the beginning of the following week. Upon unboxing I was initially impressed with the quality of everything. As stated in the other review everything was packaged nicely and seemed well protected. My tablet portion was 75% charged so updating and setting up everything was very easy. There is a number of steps in the setup of accounts for because you have two operating systems, but once I attached my Google account it seemed to set everything up as I have on my other devices. It is a nice feature of new devices to link all of your accounts and this process was seamless on the Transformer AiO.The overall look and feel of the device is solid and nicely designed. It looks and feels good. I am pleased with the performance of the docking PC and in desktop mode the screen looks fabulous; true HD. Videos look great, video conferencing looks and works great, and the touch sensitivity is precise. Windows 8 works best with the touch screen, I prefer to switch to the windows 7 type looks when Im using my mouse and keyboard, but that's just personal preference. In tablet mode the performance is all I expected and more. Yes, there are some apps that do not load properly because their tablet interface, but that is the apps fault not the fault of the device. When an app is designed for tablets they look and perform great. It is fast and fun. The weight of the tablet does not hurt its usability. I would not hold this in my hands for long periods of time, but the kickstand makes it easy to use on tables and desks. And I even have held the device in my hands and used it exactly how anyone would use a tablet and it worked fine. The 2GB of ram in tablet mode provide plenty of response and multi-tasking is a breeze. I have used the normal transformer tf300 and this tablet functions much the same just has a much bigger screen. Gaming is fun on this device, netflix works awesome as the screen is like having a tv in your hands, and productivity software such as office work great. I have used this for presentations using powerpoint in my sales meetings and people are impressed with the screen and size of the presentation allowing them to easily read the information from their seats. This is bigger than my laptop for work and has provided a great tool and conversation starter.I also like the splashtop application for using the PC portion remotely. As of now the only problem I have found is that the wifi antenna is not as strong as my phone so the internet signal has to be stronger to fully utilize everything web connected in my apartment.Overall this has exceeded my expectations!

5Not bad as All in One
By F. Lastname
I'm currently typing off of one of these machines, it functions primarily as a win8 all in one that happens to also become an android with the press of a button. You do have to set up two seperate OS systems and they dont always talk to each other. Apps like google drive or others that use a cloud based component work well on both systems, but things like playing music from the win8 side to the android side is a bit tougher.. unless it's all on google music, or being able to use speakers plugged into one portion be used by another (currently there are two ports to plug speakers into, the ability to share those ports among the two systems would have been nice). Still the freedom to watch a movie regardless of where the physical computer is set up is a bonus. Yesterday we watched a movie on the dinning table by just carrying the screen there. The win8 portion of the computer is pretty well equiped, the tablet is not tegra 4 but it makes do. Some apps are just not able to display well in landscape but it's not unmanageble. Cons include a horrible mouse design, as well as a off and on working scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is a touch based thing which doesnt always register clicks or touches on the scrolling portion. Luckily there are 4 USB ports on the win8 portion which can have anything plugged in. The other con so far is speakers. Pros: they included EVERYTHING in the box. Non of this go buy some other stuff after you just bought the computer to make it work (wire, batteries etc). The screen quality is amazing, the sound output is also pretty good. ALso for the most part, everything just.. works. It did need updates out of the box tho

4Great clarity and noise cancellation, but overall headset not as good as Plantronics Voyager Legend
By Joel Avrunin
Premium quality Bluetooth headsets keep getting better and better. I've been using them for years as my job requires talking to customers on the phone constantly, often in crowded or noisy places like airports. I've discovered that for the serious business user, you need a boom microphone - the ultra small headsets just don't work. For that reason, I've been less than satisfied with some of the smaller offers from Jabra in the past, and I keep coming back to the Plantronics Voyager line. I used a Voyager 510 years ago, and today use a Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth Headset - Retail Packaging - Black (though I've tried many other earpieces in the middle). It's hard to review a headset in isolation, so I will compare this to my headset of choice, the Plantronics Voyager Legend. Cutting to my conclusion, I will say that while Jabra got much right with the Motion, it has some serious shortcomings. I will go back to my Plantronics and do not recommend this headset, but as with all of my reviews, you need to decide for yourself. Some deal killers for me might not matter to you. Overall, the sound and clarity slightly exceed the Plantronics Voyager Legend, but the user features take it down in my mind. There are many good things to recommend this headset, just not in the areas of concern for me. Read each area and decide for yourself.Size and WeightThe Jabra Motion is very similar in size and weight to my Voyager Legend (actually a bit lighter at 6.1 oz), but instead of having a boom mic that extends from the speaker, the boom mic extends from the bottom of the earpiece itself. The microphone flips up for storage. Flipping it down will automatically answer a call, as will placing the earpiece on your ear.ComfortAs seems to be standard today, the earpiece comes with a silicone gel ear insert pre-installed, with a smaller and a larger one in the box for different sized ears. I'm a medium kind of guy, so the medium earpiece always works for me. The ear bud itself is on an extendable post so the height from the top of your ear to the bud can be adjusted. This is a really nice feature, but I found it didn't help the fit too much. I was able to get it on my ear and it feels reasonably snug, but the Plantronics Voyager Legend has a larger loop to go over the ear itself and seems to hold on better. Both are reasonably comfortable, but I found the Jabra didn't stay on quite as snugly. Your ear shape might be different from mine, but these were my experiences.ChargingOn the latest Plantronics Voyager Legend, I was quite disappointed that they switched from a standard micro-USB to a proprietary magnetic connector. They also only include a USB cable with a charger for AC wall voltage. Kudos to Jabra for sticking with a standard micro-USB connector, and also for including both a wall charger and a car charger! Charging this is a breeze.Battery LifeThis headset is fully compatible with the battery display on my iPhone, and it has an admirable 7 hours of talk time at full charge. When first connected, a voice tells you the talk time left. I just reviewed a pair of Jabra REVO Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headphones - Retail Packaging - Black. Those must be made by a different team at Jabra because they do not tell you the time left. In terms of announcing battery life and the total battery life, these are quite comparable to my Plantronics Voyager Legend. Unlike the Plantronics Voyager Legend, Jabra does not have a Plantronics Voyager Legend Charge Case - Frustration-Free Packaging - Black for getting even longer battery life.Controls - PhysicalUnfortunately, this is where the headset really fell down in my mind. If I could pick one reason I can't use it, it would be the large "answer" button on the outside surface of the ear bud. If you try to push your finger against the ear piece to make it fit more snugly in your ear, you automatically push the "answer/hangup" button. Plantronics put this button on the back surface of the ear bud, so you did not accidentally hit it when you pushed it into your ear. Jabra made the button huge and put it right on the outside surface. I have already hung up on people twice when I went to push the earpiece into my ear better. This is unacceptable, and just poor design in my mind. Also, if you click the button twice you "ignore" the call, and I've found myself doing that as well. The volume control was also not well executed. It does adjust volume via Bluetooth and not locally on the headset (a good feature), but it is a touch dial which takes quite a bit of pushing to activate. Sliding your finger top to bottom does not give you continuous volume control. You have to slide your finger over the entire control to drop or raise the volume by 1 "setting". So going to full volume from quiet can take more than 5 full swipes over the ear, and sometimes it doesn't register and you have to reswipe.I did like the mute control on the end of the boom microphone. It is nice to have a true mute button on a headset (Plantronics has similar)Controls - VoiceThere is a voice control which you can activate when off a call by pushing the "mute" button. From there you can voice dial, and this seemed to work reasonably well. However, the Plantronics added a voice control to "answer" or "ignore" calls. I've gotten so used to this feature that I can't believe Jabra doesn't have it. It is quite convenient to answer when your arms are full, and I am surprised that the voice control here lacks this feature.BluetoothPairing was fast, but the voice in the headset did not differentiate between Phone 1 (the iPhone 4) and Phone 2 (my iPad) when I paired them. Multipoint is extremely important to me, or the ability to switch quickly between two different devices. I found this headset got confused easily. Despite pairing to two devices successfully, it did not seem able to adeptly switch between them. Sometimes it would switch, sometimes it would crackle after the switch, and sometimes it wouldn't do anything. The Jabra Revo headphones I have do a great job, so perhaps that team can help their coworkers out. Lacking decent multipoint support is a tough sell for me when buying a new headset.DocumentationToo many electronics manufacturers are now relying on online manuals. I get this for less expensive tools, but for $130, don't tell me to go online to learn how to use NFC pairing. There's also no list of voice commands in the manual - you need to ask the headset to tell you the voice commands. The navigation voice in the headset itself is creepy. It's odd, because once again my Jabra Revo headphones have a nice voice.Sound Quality and Noise CancellationIt may sound strange that I saved this for the end of the review, but honestly I have found that the major headset manufacturers seem to have converged on good high end designs that do the job they need to do. The sound was crisp and loud in my ear piece, and everyone I called said I sounded wonderful. Background noise was effectively canceled and my conversations were crisp and clear. In fact, it seemed a bit better than my Plantronics Voyager Legend, but honestly, both are excellent devices as far as sound quality is concerned. My conclusion? I gave my Plantronics headset of choice just 4 stars because it had some issues preventing it from being 5 stars. I was going to rate this Jabra Motion 3 stars because it is a good headset, just not as good as very similar market competitor. Upon further consideration, I think it deserves 4 stars. Just like the Plantronics, it is not perfect, but it is a good headset that just doesn't fit my needs due to the fit on the head and the large sized hang-up button on the outside surface. I hope my review was helpful - this headset might be for you, but it just really wasn't for me.

4Excellent Bluetooth Headset with Clear Sound
By J. Perkins
In the Box: Headset, charger, usb cord, car charger attachment, extra ear buds, and instructions.Setup: The Jabra Motion Bluetooth headset is easy to set up. First thing to do out of the box is to charge the headset with the charger provided. Charging time was about 2 hours. Hold the call button on the side of the headset while flipping open the flip boom arm, then place the headset on your ear. It will give you oral instructions for pairing with a device. Using a Motorola Defy XT, I had to go into Settings-Wireless & Networks-Bluetooth settings. After selecting Scan for Devices, the phone found, paired, and connected easily with the Jabra headset. The voice in my ear said, "Mobile connected." When pressing the call button, the headset will tell you whether it is connected and how much talk time is left before charging is needed. There was 7-8 hours of talk time on the device after charging for the first time. The headset gives me a little trouble getting it in place over and in the ear. Once in place, it fits securely and is fairly comfortable. It is adjustable and easily switches from right to left ear.Operation: Basic operation is simple. Turn the headset on and off by opening and closing the flip boom arm. Answer and end calls by pressing the call button on the side of the headset. Double tapping the call button can reject an incoming call or redial the last number when not on a call. For volume control there is a volume touch sensitive panel running along the back outside of the ear piece. It was a little awkward to use at first, but I am starting to get used to it. There are raised lines to help you find the panel by feel. There is a voice/mute microphone button on the bottom of the flip boom arm. Pressing it when not on a call activates voice commands. There are several commands available: redial, call back, phone commands (accesses voice commands on phone), battery, pair new device, and cancel. If you forget, just say "What can I say?" and it will repeat the commands available. Pressing the same button during a call mutes the microphone. Conclusion: This is my second Jabra Bluetooth headset. Both are good, reliable headsets that perform well. Sound has been excellent and clear in outdoor and indoor situations. Recommended.

2People complained I sounded like I was near a plane
By Michael
I really, really wanted to like this headset. And I did, right up until I called a few people. One asked if I was in some kind of storm, another if a low-flying plane was going by.I liked the shape, the ease of setting it up, everything about it. But if people can't make me out clearly, that is a deal breaker.

..and will add a bit of New Yorker attitude to your day at the beach or by the pool. This towel is big (about 72" x 40"), soft and the graphics are classic New Yorker. It will be even better when you find it discounted at many big box stores as summer approaches:-)
