Freud Quality

These bits are well made and heavy-duty. Must be used on a router table if you value your health relative to eyes, hands and fingers. The directions are well written enhanced by illustrations/color pictures to further understanding. The glue joint bit is something I had thought I would use frequently for all my glue-ups but I have to say I am disappointed in the strength it appears to give compared to simple flat edge joinery. I made a pine project recently and made some of the stock with flat-edge glue-up and some with the glue joint edge. The bit did a nice job. It was a fairly easy set-up. You do have to shim the outfeed fence. I tried, in vain, to bypass this process but the piece would stick as soon as it approached the outfeed and the end of the piece would swerve in as it exited the cut. Therefore, a shim with precise measurement was required. Once accomplished, the edging went smoothly. Be aware, this is one mean bit that could remove a finger in a heartbeat if you get impatient, tired or careless. I am glad I bought the featherlock guides to help keep the work in place. Sooo, at the end of all the glue-ups, I assessed their apparent strength. Flat edge wins hands down. The glue bit edges actually bowed a little when I picked the piece up, not so with the flat edge of the same size.The rail and stile panel bits are flawless.

Great great product, the best DV I ever had

I am amazed at how good the resolution is and how easy it is to use. I am planning a vacation where I will be doing some sightseeing, driving through the mountains. I plan to use the mini camcorder to record some of the roadtrip. I recently tested it and found the picture is outstanding, and the mic allows me to whisper in my helmet, and you can still hear me. I'm going to get another one for my husband. Great for hiking trips, diving, helmet cams, perfect for just keeping in you pocket to whip out if you see something you want to capture. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!! Much better than using your cell phone to film anything!! If you not sure, just get it anyway. You will find a way to use this! I'M SO HAPPY THAT I DID!!

It works

I bought this blade to cut a huge amount of aluminum picture frame molding on my table saw and will continue to use it for this purpose. After much tinkering with my miter sled, it makes perfect cuts every time. The main problem to solve is the flying chips -- they are EVERYWHERE, and you certainly don't want them in your face (wear good eye protection!). After consulting the staff at Woodcraft, it was agreed that running the dust collector was not a good idea -- the aluminum chips could harm it. So, shielding the blade tightly was very important. I ended up with a removable box type jig with a plexiglass top, weather stripping around the edges, and a shop vac connection-- it all fits over the blade like a guard and is easily removed between cuts. While this doesn't get everything, it does confine it. Miter cuts in wood moulding have none of this problem and the dust collector gets most of the sawdust.From what I have read, lubricating the blade about every 5 cuts with WD40 is very important. I would have liked to see more info on this -- no user instructions come with the blade -- perhaps a suggestion as to how often to lubricate in linear feet of cut. Also, be sure you shield the blade the first time you start the saw after applying the WD40 -- it does fly!Admittedly, I had never cut aluminum before, so these issues might not be a problem for a more experienced user. But once solved, the cuts are excellent, and that's the important thing.

Cuts like butta!

Working in my metal shop, my band saw motor gave up the ghost. I got a chop saw and added this blade to cut 3" aluminum rounds. While I only cut a small amount at a time (then give it a chance to cool), it cut like butter and was an extremely smooth and straight cut. Far more accurate and about 20 times faster than my band saw. Highly recommended for cutting aluminum.

Non-Ferrous saw blade

I'm building an "Affordaplane" ultralight aircraft. The aluminum is the toughest there is, and mu band saw could not touch it, my jig saw made it look like I chewed the aluminum in two, nothing would work. So I bought a cut-off saw but it came with only a metal cutting blade. I found this blade and bought it. It ate the aluminum like candy! I was actually able to cut a 1/16" slice off a 2"x2"x1/4" square tube. And after several hundred cuts, it is as sharp as the day I bought it. It is a bit pricey, but super well worth the cost. Try cutting a piece of grade 6063-T6 aluminum with anything else, and you will understand.

Perfect For Moderate Weather

I bought this through that other online retailing giant for the same price offered here. In this case, it proves that you don't have to spend a fortune or buy a designer label to get an attractive quilt. The king sized pillow shams just make this deal sweeter and I view them as a freebie.This is a good size quilt that offers a generous drop to accommodate my pillow top mattress. The colors are muted enough with a basic palate of sage and ivory to have a calming effect. The floral pattern adds the right splash of color to brighten things up just a bit. The stitching is solid and I also like the reversible aspect of this quit.Just me, but I always launder new bedding. I washed this on cold. I have an HE top loader and ran it on a regular cycle with an additional cold rinse cycle. I tumble dried the quilt and shams. AlI three pieces laundered beautifully without any shrinkage.This is not a heavy quilt, but it will work most of the time unless it gets very cold which is why I have a down comforter I rarely use. The pillow shams are also nice, but they work better with my fiberfill pillows as opposed to my down pillows that are sort of overstuffed.Given the price, quality, and appearance I think this is a super buy for a king bed.

cuts like a champ

Cuts aluminum like wood. Be careful though. Your miter saw instructions will generally give you precautions to follow so that a given blade doesn't catch the metal (the piece that is cut off) and shoot it like a bullet off the back side of the saw. I didn't read/follow my saw's instructions (so learned this the hard way).

Great blade with super clean cuts

I purchased this to cut 3" x 8" PVC beams with an aluminum core inside. The aluminum was about 1 1/2"x6"x1/8" thick rectangle tube. I got perfectly clean cuts through both the aluminum and the PVC trim that was wrapped around it. Because of the PVC being a finished product, I didn't use a lubricant like WD40 on the blade, but ended up not having issues with the blade gullets filling with metal.I also cut a few pieces that were 1/4"x1 3/4" solid aluminum and have no problems.Overall, I am extremely pleased with the performance so far.

Surprisingly good!

After having (briefly) owned two failed units from different companies I'd gotten through eBay, I had my hopes on this one functioning as advertised reasonably low.However, upon unpacking, it felt well-made, had a nice look, fit and finish to it. Already more impressive than the previous two. Installation was very easy, straight forward and there is plenty of cord to not only span but also tuck away within one of the longest production saloons ever built.First use was done with an old 2GB card I had from a mobile phone, not the ideal size but it worked for the test run. The video is where I expected it to be after watching hours of Russian dashboard camera videos of all sorts of mischief with the bonus of covering front and rear of your vehicle.The files are stored on the card as DCIMA and DCIMB for the front and rear respectively. I can't get the rear video to mirror on the camera itself (the image is vertically inverted) but having video editing software available, this isn't an issue for me.Overall, I'm very pleased with the camera and the results it produces. Since my car appears to attract an unusually high number of moron motorists, it's nice to know that their incapabilities are recorded and can be used against them in the worst case, in the best case to make fun of them with my friends.Quite likely that I'll order more for other vehicles too.

I have this Car DVR and I love it. However, mine may be a newer model as it is MP4 format not AVI so it is compatible with any computer system (you never know what the cops [or Youtube] might need). The only problem I have had with it is the adhesive on the rear camera is not too good and it falls off. But that's a minor issue.If you get this machine, DO NOT LOSE THE INSTRUCTIONS! You will use them over and over again as you may randomly decide to change features (it has a LOT).The video quality out of both cameras is excellent from dawn to dusk. Night vision is mediocre but definitely usable. Its better than my iPhone video at night.It comes with two mounts -- an articulating mount and one that just sticks to the windshield. I'm using the one that is flat on the windshield. My windshield has a severe angle so I can't really see the screen very well. With the articulating arm you can see the screen well but the screen is so small I'm not sure its of any consequence -- especially if you are using the PIP with the rear camera.The DVR creates two folders on the SIM. One for the front camera and one for the rear. If there should be a "collision" it will add two more folders automatically that are not erased when the chip fills up. Video during the accident is put in those folders. It only plays for a few minutes on the built-in battery but if your car loses power from an accident it should be sufficient.I would definitely recommend the MP4 version.

The best for commercial production

Probably one of the best blades on the market for commercial wood production. It is fast, it is sharp and the quality is good enough to warrant resharpening when needed. Unlike lower quality blades that do not hold up and are simply more cost effective to replace than resharpen. Service is prompt with Amazon, shipping simply depends on how fast you need it. You will have a hard time finding a better price, very competitive.

Beautiful!

We have just finished installing this beautiful mailbox. It is very sturdy and is easily constructed. However, there are a couple of things that we wished that we have known before we started. First, if you have the old (first) style Step 2 mailbox, your post is most likely around 2 1/2 feet tall. This mailbox needs a post that is 4 foot tall. Second, this mailbox is larger than the previous styles and is a full six inches closer to the road than our other box- mounted in same spot. I highly recommend this box because of its sturdy construction and its very high style. It does not look like a Fisher Price toy. We would definitely purchase this again.
