Viaguard Prenatal Gender Testing. This test is a non-invasive procedure that utilizes exclusive DNAffirm precision technology to genetically determine the gender of a fetus with 98% accuracy after approximately 7 weeks of gestation (or 10 weeks after last period). Product Description:

  • Results in 5 days. Non-Invasive. Based on fetal DNA in maternal blood. The only scientifically proven method.
  • 98% accuracy after approximately 7 weeks of gestation (or 10 weeks after last period).
  • All Tests Can Be Done For Legal Purposes.
  • VIAGUARD'S ABSOLUTE GENDER IDENTITY IS PROVEN BY DNAFFIRM TECHNOLOGY. IF THE FETAL Y CHROMOSOME IS EVIDENT IN A FEW DROPS OF MATERNAL BLOOD, THE MOTHER IS CARRYING A MALE FETUS, IF ONLY THE X CHROMOSOME IS PRESENT, A FEMALE.
  • ONLY VIAGUARD OFFERS THE EXCLUSIVE CLINICAL PRECISION OF DNAFFIRM TECHNOLOGY EXPEDITED SERVICE AT NO EXTRA COST. IN WHAT IS OFTEN A SENSITIVE SITUATION, LET VIAGUARD DISCREETLY HANDLE EVERY ASPECT.

WE HAVE COMPARED VIAGUARD'S NEW STATE OF THE ART NON- INVASIVE BLOOD SAMPLE COLLECTION TEST TO OLDER METHODS, SOME STILL IN USE, THAT USE A FEW DROPS OF BLOOD ON A CARD.

THE RESULTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

VIAGUARD NON INVASIVE BLOOD SAMPLE COLLECTION - 98.7% ACCURACY
OLDER BLOOD SPOT ON A CARD COLLECTION METHODS - 71.4 ACCURACY

THE VIAGUARD SYSYEM IS 40% MORE ACCURATE, AND BOTH TESTS COST ABOUT THE SAME.
IF YOU HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE A BLOOD SAMPLE TAKEN, VIAGUARD WILL REBATE THAT COST UP TO $40.00 PER COLLECTION, JUST ADVISE US

The gender of a fetus can be determined with 100% accuracy after approximately 7 weeks of gestation (10 weeks after last missed period). At this stage of pregnancy, the maternal blood carries sufficient fetal DNA for identification of the gender of the fetus.

Gender identification is based on the specific identification of the Y chromosome which indicates that the fetus is absolutely a male, absence of the Y chromosome means a female fetus. 100% results are obtained using a small blood sample taken from the mothers arm using the vacutainer tube we supply. The sample can be easily taken at any medical lab in a few minutes , and is stabilized in the tube for returning to us by courier or mail

The Viaguard genetic non-invasive gender determination test has evolved from work done in 1997 when Lo et al first described the presence of fetal DNA in material plasma and serum. The cell free fetal DNA offered an important path for non-invasive prenatal gender determination. Based on a PCR assay, Viaguard has determined that the concentration of fetal DNA in maternal plasma in the first trimester and particularly after 7 weeks of gestation was about 3.4% and it is estimated that a mean of 24.4 copies of fetal DNA circulates per ml. of maternal plasma. At this level there is almost 100% precision in identifying the Y chromosome and establishing fetal gender.

5The truth about early gender testing!
By RebeccaLillard
Hi I am not writing this because I personally compared the different tests on the market but I am writing this because I scientifically compared these tests. I am sure most of you who are reading this already know about the few products out on the market that claim to determine fetal gender at around 10 weeks and with reasonable accuracy (10 weeks). Some of these products claim to only use urine or a single drop of blood with results that are instantaneous. I am also sure that everyone has read about the scams by the different companies and the lawsuits that they are facing. For instance, Intelligender in 2011 was dealing with a class action lawsuit for the number of incorrect results and false claims. The truth is that the only scientifically proven method to determine gender of a fetus at 6 weeks and beyond is by taking sufficient amounts of plasma from maternal blood via a venous draw. There is no other scientifically proven method beyond this. You cannot take urine and drop/mix it with solution and think that pH can predict gender, nor can you use a single drop of blood and assume the Y chromosome at such low amounts would be present. Professor Dennis Lo of the Hong Kong University was the first to identify fetal DNA in the mothers venous blood circulation and since then he has revolutionized a whole new field of science known as prenatal testing. The studies related to his research are the only proven and accurate methods to determine fetal gender. The general public is not aware of this research so advertisements and claims by companies who manufacture these urine based tests often give us the slightest hope that there is a simple test out there.Using fetal DNA that is circulating in the mothers blood (only way to obtain this is by a venous blood draw) has proven to be more accurate than a technician at a ultrasound clinic. These tests has been proven to be nearly 100% accurate at only 6-7 weeks.Just read this and use "science" to guide your decision:[...]"Ninety studies, incorporating 9,965 pregnancies and 10,587 fetal sex results met our inclusion criteria. Overall mean sensitivity was 96.6% (95% credible interval 95.2% to 97.7%) and mean specificity was 98.9% (95% CI = 98.1% to 99.4%). These results vary very little with trimester or week of testing, indicating that the performance of the test is reliably high."
