Great budget Media Receiver !!NO CD PLAYER!!

After installing Alpine's CDE-141 receiver in my sisters car last week I finally decided that the amp and subwoofer I've been carrying in my tahoe deserved to have some signal put their way. I'd planned on putting a double DIN DVD player in, but decided the ipad will suffice to entertain the growing child in the back seat and I'd rather just stick in a budget stereo. Seeing as I haven't used a CD since I had an aux input retrofitted into my car a couple years back, it only made sense to go with a CD-less unit.For a budget unit, this thing is FANTASTIC. It includes freq center, high and low pass crossovers, and while not overly powerful, the internal amp is perfectly serviceable for most listeners needs. I have Alpine Type E (read: CHEAP component set) 6.5s up front, and stock speakers in the back and I am THRILLED with the quality for my minimal investment. I've had $2500 stereo systems, and while thats not what this is, for the money spent, its WAY more.
