Standing at work has been shown in studies to have numerous health benefits, including reducing lower back pain and burning extra calories. The Original Stand Steady standing desk (patent pending) is comfortable, affordable, and compatible with your existing desk. It is 24 inches wide x 20 inches deep and the height adjusts from approximately 11.25 inches to approximately 15.25 inches in one inch increments. Place it on top of your existing desk, adjust it to your correct ergonomic height, and you are ready to work standing up. It is large enough to hold a standard size monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a notepad or cup of coffee and sturdy enough to support a monitor arm. It actually increases your desk space because you can put items or files below the Stand Steady. The tops are manufactured in North Carolina out of high-quality melamine coated particleboard with PVC edging for comfort. They come in your choice of Black or American Maple. The aluminum legs have snap buttons to easily adjust the desk. The front and back legs can be set at a one inch difference in height, allowing your desk to be set at a tilt. The legs have non-skid, rubber feet providing extra stability. Additional leg extenders can be purchased to give you up to 22 inches in height. The Stand Steady comes flat packed and can be easily set up in just minutes.

Love this desk

I've been using this desk for about 2 weeks now. I love it. It was super easy to assemble and adjust. My back is feeling so much better now that I'm standing most of the day. It's also really easy to swap out from when I want to sit down. Great product, great price.

For the last 3 months I have been working from home (designing software) and am in front of my computer more hours than is healthy too count. I had been noticing I was hunching over and my back was a bit sore. After purchasing the desk I just feel healthier. To warm up to using the desk I used it every other day for the first week (super easy to swap in and out). Now I am standing every day and playing music and dancing badly while I code. I love my Stand Steady desk and have been telling all my friends about it.

I have been using my standsteady for about three weeks now and have found it to be a HUGE upgrade from the makeshift solution I had previously used. The simple, lightweight design allows me to move it off of my desk quickly whenever I have a meeting in my office. And because the legs are widely spaced I can still use the space underneath it for books, etc.Overall, an outstanding solution!
