Ok folks, I don't normally hit up a product with 5 *s but I am giving this one it.First of let me say you are getting what you pay for, so buy with realistic goals.Fabric- If you are expecting the same type of canvas material and fancy stitching that you get when you pay 2 or 3 hundred, keep looking. The fabric is thin but well enough made, and has so far held up. The top is on there quite loose and I would be afraid to see what would happen to the fabric if you decided not to put the solar panel on (seems snug enough with panel on). But at $100 if it lasts me two or 3 seasons I got my money worth. I would not keep this (or any umbrella) open in a heavy wind storm, but I don't think it would last too well if I forget and leave it open.Lights- Ok reminder, the little LED panel is in a box of its own on one end of the umbrella box. If you happen to open it like I did from the opposite end, dont freak out and think they forgot to include the panel (like I almost did). Look inside as it fits in there snug and wont just slide out. That being said, I put the umbrella together in the morning, was a cloudy day, and that night around 2 am went out to try the LED lights. For what I wanted the amount of light from LED is PERFECT. You could probably read a newspaper under it. It adds just enough light to be social, play poker, etc, but not so much you lose your night vision from staying under it. For example, if you cook a steak good luck using the light from LED's to tell whether you have a rare or well done steak, but since I eat rare its fine for me. I have not tested to see how long the lights last...stayed out long enough to have a cigar but by time I was done lights still on and bugs were biting.Pole-Seems sturdy enough, crank makes it go up and down, and tilt "seems" to work. My only complaint about it so far is when you crank it down you end up fighting the umbrella a bit, but that's to be expected. Bought a simple $5 water filled stand from Walmart to use until I find one I like, and between it and the hole in the table, nothing moves.

I am very happy with this umbrella. This company is easy to work with as well. I accidentally left my umbrella open during a very strong windy day so had to order a replacement. The company was very helpful and even provided a discount on my second order. I will enjoy this umbrella. The lights are great and it is very easy to use.
