5Simple & Easy for Babywearing
By A. SMITH
Baby wraps are great if you have the time to deal with loose straps and are comfortable with a greater learning curve, but I needed something with simple buckles and adjustable straps that wouldn't hurt my back after wearing it all day. Prior to the Pikkolo, I had a Peanut Shell sling (which is very easy, but hurt my back) and an Infantino soft structure carrier (hurt my back AND had straps that easily tangled). I'd also tried the Becco Butterfly to determine what works best for me.The Pikkolo is structured the same as the Mei Tei wrap (both made by Cat Bird Baby), but the Pikkolo has easy buckles and straps for us moms who need the ease of using a carrier. I chose the Pikkolo over the Becco because of the carrying options- front, back, outward facing & hip.The Pikkolo doesn't hurt my back, I have ease of use without any additional help (a must for a single parent!), and it has versatile carries which will come in handy as my son grows.

5Love this carrier!
By Dallas Mom
I am so pleased with this carrier. I spent an hour in the sling store, going back and forth with my 5-month old baby between this and an Ergo carrier. In the end I went with the Pikkolo because it was more comfortable to me, you could wear baby front facing out (cannot do this in an Ergo), front facing in, hip and back. I also found the carrier body to be short on the Ergo and my baby's legs seemed to be sort of sticking straight out, rather than appearing seated as they do in the Pikkolo. I like that you can narrow the leg area to get a comfortable seated position for your little one.I'd been using a Moby Wrap but it was getting too hot in the Texas heat, and my son was too heavy (18 lbs!) for me to carry him in the Bjorn Active anymore. I wanted a soft-structured carrier that would get me through toddlerhood and this one fits the bill. I use it at the grocery store, Target, running just about any errand. I can put it on right there in the parking lot quickly and my baby really loves it. All in all a great carrier and well worth the money in my opinion. I got the Mocca Rouge fabric and it is adorable to boot.

5Love this pack!!!
By C. Purkey
I absolutely LOVE this pack! I've had it for just over a month now, and it gets used every day. Sometimes multiple times during the day. Learning to use it can be a bit complicated, but it's not difficult once you get it down. My 3 month old hates being in his stroller or car seat, so I carry this pack with me everywhere. It's his main mode of transportation when he's not in the car. Originally I was given a Jeep front carrier, but that hurt my back and shoulders. I've had two back surgeries and deal with a lot of back pain already. This carrier has the hip belt, which is a must for me. It's much better on your back and shoulders. Plus, I like the fact there is nothing between me and him. He is securely held in waist belt, and then pressed up against me. Since my son always falls asleep in his carrier (front carry, facing in), it makes it easy to remove the pack after we get home. I can even just lay down on the sofa, unbuckle and slide out everything, and then he can nap right there with me!He isn't quite big enough for the back carry yet, but I have practiced putting the carrier on that way. It is a little more complicated than some, again, but not hard to figure out. I love the fact that this can be used in so many ways- front facing in, front facing out, hip carry, and back carry. And since it holds a baby up to 40 pounds, there won't be any need for me to look into a new carrier over the years. It is well worth the money.
