fun but not safe enough

My friend's 11 month old loved this toy, but in chewing on it, got his lip and tongue caught in the "sqeaky" purple end and it cut his mouth.

Our daughter loves this rattle. At six months she is always surprised when she sees herself in the mirror or when she squeaks the button. There are three handles on the rattle so it is easy to grasp and change from hand to hand. The rattle is full of different textures and different sounds. We spend lots of time playing with this. However, follow the care instructions and just clean with a damp cloth. We dunked ours to clean it and it took several hours for the rattle beads to dry out. We have tried lots of Sassy toys and have nothing but praise for them.
