The side impact protection is designed to distinctly protect five vulnerable areas of a child head, neck, face, pelvis and torso. The easy adjust, soft touch head restraint is padded with real automotive pure foam and positions easily with the turn of a knob. Also features an easy to adjust five point harness, cool mesh air ventilation, and a forward facing lock off mechanism that locks the vehicle seat belt in the belt path for optimum safety. Other features include push button latch system with latch storage, harness storage pockets, a universal top tether system and a rear facing recline lever. Real automotive pure comfort foam in the seat provides luxury comfort for your little one. Also included is the Recaro safety stripe system a racing inspired white stripe which will be clearly visible on the outside edge of the 5 point harness. Great Seat!

I'm not one to write reviews about the things that I buy, but I depend on others to help me, so I thought I'd tell you how much we like this seat. After A LOT of research and deliberation, I decided to buy this seat for my 6 month old son. He outgrew his infant carrier in length and weight very quickly. He LOVES this seat. He used to scream on long car rides in his infant carrier, but this seat is PLUSH... The head wings make nice pillows for a little guy, and they make this momma feel safer knowing that if something were to happen, his head would have that added protection. The 5-point harness works really easily and I like the white guide lines on the mesh straps making you sure that nothing is twisted or tangled. I feel really happy putting him in this seat, as I know he is safe in it.Although the price tag seems a little high, this thing is worth it. I love how the straps and head wings in the restraint can be easily raised up or down and tightened. The installation of this seat was a breeze. I installed it in my Hyundai Elantra in just a few short minutes and then had my husband come to check and make sure I had the latch straps tight enough. The thing wouldn't budge. Notice, I said that it is in an Elantra- this is not a large car by any means, but it fits fine, rear-facing, in the center of the back seat.So... yeah, we've only been using the seat for a couple of weeks, but I highly recommend it as we are very happy with it.
