When I received this product I was immediately impressed as was my six year old son when he opened his Christmas present. First off, from the photos I was expecting a decent looking car but thought that it might be cheaply made because the unit price was reasonable and the description said die metal with plastic parts. I was expecting more plastic than metal. However, this is a sturdy feeling model with a little bit of weight as it is truly a die metal car.The paint job was wonderful as well as the details such as the hubcaps and the white wall tires. Their description is right on as the steering wheel does move the front tires. Under the hood is a three dimensional engine instead of just a molded plastic piece. The "wood" is plastic of course but it looks very authentic. The seats have a very good leather look and if you look closely you can see the speedometer and radio at the dashboard. The door handles are designed well and the exhaust system under the car is just part of the precision that this company takes in trying to make it appear as real as possible.The car itself is probably for older kids who know its value and will care for it. It is not a bang up and crash kind of toy. My son does drive it around the floor but usually just admires it and will be inspired by it to draw it and other cars. He places it up high so the two year old who is in his "destructive" (or is it curious?) phase won't reach it. He found that the tires may pop off if he tries too hard to push it on thick carpet. Fortunately it was easily reinstalled and now he stays with either the tile or wood floors when playing with it. You wouldn't want to have it played in the dirt, rocks or mud, though. It is just too good looking.I've never heard of this company before but I will definitely try some of their other cars as reward for achievements reached by my son. They have definitely found a new customer.

I remember this car as a kid, and when I saw it was available a few years ago, had to have it for my collection. It is a solid model, very well done in detail, and has such a classic look to it. For those who enjoy the classic look of the older cars, you will love having this one.
