Thought it would be better...

Machine is still bulky. I wished the MFP were made smaller still. For laser its an okay size.Canon seems to be overall nice and fully packed with features but extremely hard to setup and understand.Seems like all the company's have their sort of problems.Below is what I've found so far.HP is very easy to use when it works. Drivers and printers aren't built like they used to. The boot up time is slow! and slow reconnecting network on the wireless side. But extremely easy to use and understand and setup. Drivers are easy to find when their website doesn't have problems.Xerox packs a punch in printing but hard to find them good cause they are expensive in price. I had no problems understanding how to use the printer without any help of the manuals. Drivers comes out slowly for new OS.Canon is extremely hard to setup but does all the features of what you would expect in MFP office environment. Drivers are solid but not always up to date unless you buy a new printer. They made network setup extremely painful for those with complicated passwords again! Almost enough for people to want to throw this machine down on the floor before they finish the setup. On this machine they made it the numpad / tabbing for caps and symbols by selecting it for each password first, kinda like a fax. Extremely painful if you have caps or mixed numbers in your password. With all the buttons they had, they could of made scrolling easy! As this feature was much more universal.Second of all there is no touchscreen. Customer service told me there would be, thinking it would made wireless setup easier. Sadly there is none.Printing color will require some good paper. Prints looks like wet ink if on regular paper. Thats where I like Xerox. You can print on bad paper and still get decent results. But I do like the sharpness. Pretty fast printer load up time and fast printing.Oh yeah my printer also error out on adjusting so maybe that can be the reason. I have yet to do a lot of printing on it. Just testing and getting the setup going. I like the duplex scanning and speed of this machine. Seems very office friendly in terms of speed. Also has a sleep mode for easy on and off. Seems solid for good office use, just don't change passwords on your router. I probably need to go through the manual, it wasn't as easy as I thought to setup and test this machine to change settings. That being said a lot of my printing experiences can be better. But from the reviews probably not by much.
