5I use this ladder everyday and I'm over weight. It's really, really good.
By J. Kaufman
I'm a 290 pound truck driver and I'm required to climb into and out of my truck's trailer twenty or more times each shift. Most drivers ninja their way up into the trailer by grabbing onto the handles (if they're not missing) and stepping onto the tires. I'm not a ninja so I decided to do what any sensible fat man would do and buy a ladder instead. I will often recklessly throw this ladder into the trailer, onto the ground, and have had stacks of pallets fall onto it and it's still working great. I've also used this ladder on ice and snow and with wet boots and I've never once felt like I was going to lose traction on the steps or that the ladder was going to slide on the ground. This is the first ladder I've ever owned and I'll never buy another brand.**Edit, March 2013:It's been more than a year since I've written this review and I still use this ladder almost everyday. It's showing a lot of cosmetic wear, which is to be expected, but a piece of the fiberglass has broken as well. There's a 6 inch split on one of the rear legs, starting at the bottom and working it's way up. It appears as if there's a hard inner core, where the bottom-most horizontal support sits, but it's still something I'm concerned with. Luckily, I usually just lean the ladder up against my trailer rather than opening it up all the way. In this position the rear leg doesn't touch the ground so I'm still comfortable using it. Seeing as how I rarely open the ladder up to use it I'm a little confused as to how this split occurred. I imagine something fell on the ladder or that particular strip of fiberglass was worn thin by sliding it into and out of my trailer thousands of times. Regardless, I'd still buy it if I were you.

5Light and sturdy
By E. Sikorski
For the price, I am very happy with this ladder. It is exactly what I was looking for ; something light and sturdy. The 250 pound rating is what I need for me and anything I will be carrying on the ladder coming up/down from the attic. It is easy to carry and surprisingly light for its size. FedEx delivered the ladder in two days with prime shipping. Since I don't have an SUV or truck, this was a great option as I did not have to find a way to get it home from a big box store.
