Very Satisfied

So, I have had the headphones for about three days now, and all i have to say is that I am a very satisfied customer. (keep in mind that i got these for $120)First Impressions:Fresh out of the box, the sound was very clear. the lows mids and highs were all pretty good. The box it comes in is very well made, the unboxing experience was a very pleasant one.Burn In: i played white noise through these for about three hoursAesthetics, Build and Comfort: these headphones look fantastic, and the build quality is quite good. The brown earcups are actually translucent, allowing you to see the wiring and drivers inside of the cup. The stainless steel headband looks very good, and holds the headphones firm against your head. As for cushioning, the earcups are very soft. I have used them for 5 hours+ at a time, and have yet to experience any discomfort.Sound: After the burn in, I played a wide variety of music through these headphones including Hip Hop, Pop, Dubstep, Electrohouse, alternative and classical rock, Classical, and Jazz. Overall, my experience has been very good. The bass is rich without being overpowering. It has a very full sound, and isn't muddy at all unlike some other rapper endorsed headphones (beats, i'm looking at you). The mids are clear, and very vibrant. I had been using a pair of klipsch s4's before the aviators, and compared to those, i was able to hear much more detail. i also have a pair of B&O A8's and the mids are about on par with that, so i am very happy. Really the only place where i feel like this product could be improved on for this particular price point. Particularly in classical music, there are some points where i feel like the highs aren't vibrant enough. the feel is just a bit flat, but i've only experienced this on a few tracks, so though it could be better, i'm not really complaining too much about that.Overall this is an amazing product, and i am very satisfied with my purchase.

I initially purchased Beats Studio Over-Ear Headphone (Black) for $300 after I had friends raving about how they're the coolest thing. Really dumb decision, because they have major sound leakage and are not noise canceling. I saw these Aviators as well, but thought, these are only $150 and Beats by Dre are $300...so Beats must be offering something more, right?Wrong. Unless you include some extra fancy packaging and the annoying fact that you have to put batteries in the Beats headphones as being pros, then these win by a long shot. They are a $100 cheaper and noise canceling is so much better, hardly any sound leakage (people around me stopped complaining), and are very comfortable. I think these are a good deal for the price and the only reason they're not $300 is because they don't have the name Dr. Dre associated with it.

Bought the 2012 model with detachable cable last week, and it's just awesome, clear sound, very comfortable and great look.Be aware that the detachable cable is inside the left inner pocket of the carrying case, enveloped by the cleaning cloth. At first i thought it was missing but found it there later lol.So far, so good!
