baldwin lock

Am adding new doors to the house and wanted quality locks. These Baldwin are a step above the Schlage and Kwikset. When you pick them up the knob is solid brass not a shell of metal. They have a weight and solid feel. Finish is great. My only gripe is they are the type that opens from the inside whether locked or not and stays that way so you can easily lock your self out. Wish this were a setting that coud be fxed

I received my Baldwin knob and it was a perfect replacement for my existing lock. The cost savings and the time savings made it a GREAT deal.

Obvious quality when you look and and touch this knob.I should have had my door made for 2-3/4" set back ratherthan 2-3/8". This knob works for either, but my handcould do with a bit more space, as my outside doorjamb stop is wider than one on an internal door.Recommended, if you can get a good price on it. Anythingnear suggested retail is a bit steep -- still recommendedif you have the do-re-mi.
