Sweet & Creamy

My favorite Keurig coffee is the Donut Shop coffee, so when I saw this I was really excited. I was also skeptical because I had tried a hot chocolate K-cup when I first bought my machine 3 years ago and it was turned out like what you would expect if you tried making powdered chocolate Nesquik with water. Just water and chocolate, yuck!Since I have an older machine, it does not fit a 16 oz cup to brew over ice as indicated in the instructions. I had to brew it into my small mug, then pour over ice. I'm not too sure how much difference that made, but here is my experience yesterday morning:The brewed K-Cup was absolutely beautiful! It looked thick and creamy. What you'd expect after adding cream to your coffee. I immediately poured it over ice and took a sip. It was fantastic! Just the right mixture of coffee and cream. I do want to add that it wasn't as cold as I liked it though, but that is to be expected (pouring something hot over ice will not be that cold). I enjoyed the first 3 to 4 sips, and then the ice started melting. The last 4 to 6 sips were too watery to be enjoyable.But that really wasn't a big deal because I could fix the problem the next time I made it. I figured that I'd put it in the fridge for a few minutes and then pour it over ice. So I made another one this morning and was going to put it in the fridge, but I didn't feel like waiting for coffee. Then I got this GRAND idea! Why do I need to pour it over ice? Why can't I just drink it hot as is? And I did and it was wonderful! I know that it is concentrated so that once the ice melts it is perfect, but I happen to like my coffee strong and extra creamy.So I figured that I will just drink it hot from now on. It was really enjoyable. I might also ice it again in the future, but cool it before adding it to the ice and I know that it will be fantastic! I gave it 4 stars because they can also advertise it as being great hot too and because some of the older machines, like mine, only fit small mugs and it is impossible to brew over ice as stated in the instructions. Also, I imagine that brewing it over ice would still leave the drink cool at most and very watery. Perhaps it could have been more concentrated?All in all, I highly recommend it and also recommend trying it hot.
